Meet Casper!
Casper is Batty’s brother from a litter this spring and came to us because he is extremely shy and the breeder could not find a home for him (if you recall, Batty and his siblings came because they were rejected and the breeder did not want to bottle raise them).
We will be looking for the perfect home for him, in the mean time, we’re working with him daily to make him more confident and sociable and he’s having a ball playing and napping with Kipper!

Meet Rowyn and Thystle!
Thystle and Rowyn are both three years old! They where born and adopted in 2017, but you may remember them living at saveafox for a while, because their owner lived there a while with them, and then had to board them for a bit.
They live in Oklahoma now!
Thystle’s favorite snacks are blueberries, watermelon, and chicken legs! Her favorite kind of toys are anything that squeaks!

Over the weekend some awful rumours started on Facebook that Finnegan had died. Understandably a lot of people were very upset and distressed, us included; so this morning, having tried to put the rumours to rest last night, Merri went and made a video saying good morning to the foxes in Finnegan’s yard; here is the result and hilarious outcome of ‘Good Morning Finnegan!’

Nyx did did really well at the vet. There was a large infection, all the way to the ear base, but they think the ear can be saved. It was stitched, except for drainage and was debreeded and lavaged (flushed). We have antibiotics, pain meds and a wash for her ear. She recovered well from the sedation and is eating, drinking and taking her meds like a champ so far.

Meet Nyx. We knew this sweet girl was coming. We did not know she was coming to us like this.
Mikayla left to collect her and we were then told that she had gotten out and had been injured, as you can see she is in rough shape with her ear. We collected her immediately and she will be seen by a vet as soon as she arrives in Minnesota.
Nyx is a 2yr old artic female who was surrendered to us from an illegal state.

Roasty toasty foxes nowhere!
It’s over 90° here in Minnesota today, so all the foxes have taken cover in their cool dens, so we don’t have any new content for you, instead, we have some throw back, never-before-seen content!

Please keep our tail-less female fox kit in your thoughts today, she started to fade overnight, she has failure to thrive. We are doing everything we can, including providing intensive care at the rescue, to try and bring her back but we are not very hopeful - we will need a miracle- they fade so fast this young.
Please send us all your healing vibes, good thoughts, prayers, magic and anything else positive.
