Zhivago is our raccoon resident. He is albino and came to us in the same rescue from Utah as Shadow, Foxx and Dakota. He is extremely shy but we do occasionally see him during the day and it’s lovely when we do!

I know many of you have been asking about plans for Archie and today we’ve been building a 100sq ft enclosure for him in the Arctic yard.
The hope is that Mala and Esmae will accept him and will be his guides as we expand him to the whole yard; we will be building up the edges of the pond to ensure he cannot fall in at any point before allowing him full run of the yard.
Once we move Archie, we will share video!

Today we went to visit Foxx, Lumi and Nyx and had a wonderful time. Their new home is wonderful and the set up is fantastic. Their adopter Mike, built everything by hand, on his own! They have pear and apple trees too.
Foxx was super happy to see us - video coming soon - and we got in lots of love.

As always, our patrons hear the news first. Today, Pip left for his new home and because we don’t want Ava to be lonely, we were able to pull another male fox from the fur farm for her. In addition, Mikayla was able to rescue another female, who we are hoping will be great friends with Mala and Esmae!

Peep is Atlas’ brother and is currently in foster with two of our amazing sponsors - Kevin and his daughter Ariane. For those of you who remember, they initially fostered Pi, now Taz, before he went to his forever home in Illinois.
Peep, like Atlas, is very energetic and his best friend is his monkey; he and Atlas are actually about the same size. Peep is incredibly lucky to be able to be socialised so well, to have access to an indoor and outdoor enclosure and is a wonder...

Our wee man is doing really well, we’re working on weaning and socialising him with as many people and animals as we can and we’re treating his very dry poops with pedialyte in his formula/food mix, pumpkin and bene-back plus, along with a good ol’ dose of extra water.
We’re calling him Spud right now because he’s rocking the perfect little potato body, but what do you guys think this handsome, little blue-eyed boy should be called?
