He arrived with Doc yesterday. He’s pretty scared but our wonderful volunteer Kim, who also took these pictures, spent lots of time with him, with our seasonal employee, Anna, today and he’s already doing so much better!

She is a 3 week old arctic pup who is missing her tail. When she is a little older, she’ll be going to live at our sister sanctuary, Foxes Journey, where she will join their existing arctic, Kayaba.
She was pulled from the fur farm this morning, and, other then the missing tail is in good shape.

But our sweet sunmist boy passed away this morning. He was left too long, was too malnourished and his body couldn’t take it. He passed in his sleep.
We buried him with Mini.

Last night we pulled three pups from the fur farm.
- A 10 week old Pearl cross female
- a 10 week old sunmist male
- a 3 week old arctic male
The sunmist male is in a pretty bad way; he is the same age as the girl but so much smaller, more fragile. He wasn’t eating on the fur farm but we’re going to do everything we can for him and hopefully make him nice and chunky before we know it. Please keep him in your thoughts.

Agatha’s meds are working exactly as we’d hoped and her kidney function is even better than it was! Go Agatha!
As you may or may not know, our sweet Agatha is 19 years young and suffers from hyperthyroidism. Today was her first check up after her diagnosis and were hoping that she is stable and that her medication is at therapeutic levels - meaning it’s working.
Her weight is great, she had a full work up so we will update this post with the blood test results 🤞🏻

This last week, Shadow took a trip to Michigan...she is actually getting adopted in a few months and we wanted to make sure her and the adopters existing fox would be a good match and that the human would be too and it went well!
Shadow was a little stressed when kennelled but once she was let out, she sat on Mik’s lap or by her feet and really enjoyed herself! She also had a wonderful time staying in a hotel for the first time!

I am so sorry this is a late post; I have been utterly exhausted caring for Serafina and Sweetpea and my poorly cat Iorek, along with all my other responsibilities and just passed out utterly between feeds until this morning after finishing at the rescue yesterday.

As you all know, we normally keep babies to ourselves for the first week or so - the pups we receive are usually sick, or weak or have something wrong, but these 3 little girls have been with us just over a week now and are, so far, doing ok so I think it’s ok to share them. Meet.....
