This morning, Teddy officially became Reef when he was collected from Fox HQ and began his 26hr journey to his new home at Pawsitive Beginnings in Florida. Please give them a follow to keep up with him and send lots of love their way - he’s such a special boy and I will miss him so much, but, he couldn’t be going to be better home.

Mini’s legs are in much worse shape than we thought; it looks like, according to the vet, that her umbilical cord became wrapped round them while she was in the womb and this means that she has zero functionality in her right leg, which was the one we were very worried about, and less than 100% functionality in her left...

It snowed yesterday and it’s been pretty cold, so Felix took advantage of the cosy bed in one of the open enclosures and had been having a lovely nap!
He does have a fox box in his tree, but it’s so lovely seeing him come down and take advantage of the big donut beds the other foxes love so much!

We have an extra reason it’s been a quiet few days on Patreon - we have had our first two pups of the season! They’re both now 15 days old and came to us at 10 days.
Please welcome a little boy, who is a platinum, just like Malachi. He has damage to his front right paw and his tail. We won’t know until he is bigger if any kind of amputation will be necessary for his tail; we’ll share pictures of his injuries in the coming days.

With the weather being so warm here, Jasmine, our skunk, joined Emmie for playtime in the squirrel yard. They get on really well together and Emmie loves to play ‘jump the skunk’!
Our Polecat also has moved outside to enjoy the weather, into Clementine’s old enclosure.
