it's the end of the month and I'm going to be cramming this months content into these last two days of September! I have made a lot of content since my travels home to UK, coming up is a tour of my family home, I will be taking you to my high school, the beaches where I grew up, and sharing the emotional process of coming home to see my parents after 5 years.

Summer Adventure

Well, that is definitely happening, am American man is coming to visit me from Florida, via Siciliy, and I can't wait to meet him in person!

August is here. it's HOT AF!

In a month where it feels impossible to do anything in this humidity, I'm reflecting on the fact that a lot has been happening. Even though at times in life it can feel as if nothing is happening, when I look back over July i can see that someone very dear to me came to visit and it went perfectly.

End of July!

i do love the summer!

I remember last July, it was so exciting, and i have a feeling that this one, although very different in quality is no different and that I have a feeling August could get hot for more reasons than just sun!

Here's my update on all that has been hapneing

Summer Holiday

Thanks so much for the space to have a little summer break with my nephew who I haven't seen for 3 years due to lockdown. 

It has been amazing. We burnt the candle at both ends, getting out in the ocean, getting to music jams in the evening, he wanted to stay in Gozo, i learned to drive a stick shift, until the clutch went, and we went back to taking buses. We have today and tomorrow together and then I take him to the airport on Wednesday. We have had 8 days together so far.

Family Dynamics

This exclusion was a hugely upsetting situation for me.

In this Vlog i am triggered and upset. it's helpful to let it out.

Speaking of the artistic process our emotions play a key part. They can activate some life force in us which provokes us to create. They can keep us from creating. Handling all these emotions has been heavy but getting out to the ocean and creating underwater art was a great reminder of how art can be the greatest healer.

it's time to release the old and start anew. 

Reborn to who I am and who I want to be. Free of the old voices of family in my head who treat me like I don't matter.

Sharing a bit about how sometimes i go to do something, make something, and the thing that gets in the way is more of an emotional stuckness than anything physical...

Often what is holding us back is inside us, not outside us

I'm so grateful I have the tools to dissolve anything that is creating resistance, but often the discipline to do that is the hardest thing of all!!!
