I know I say this a lot, but this is one of my favorite pieces I've done in a while. It's in an odd time (7/4), so the grouping feels like a section of 5 followed by a section of 2 (you can listen for the clangy accents to hear what I mean). It's funny, cuz when I first started on this piece I thought "Meh, it's a start of something I suppose." As it progressed I fell more and more in love with it. That's just how it goes sometimes!

Hey Party Members, Happy Friday!
Today's song was inspired by a Final Fantasy song (I was gonna tell you which one, but let me see if you can guess in the comments before I do!).

When coming up with these songs each week, I try to think of a situation or scene you might find in a game. Then I try to write music that would make sense in that context.

Hey Party Members!
This song made me think of the heroes descending into the big bad's layer near the end of the game. Of course, OUR heroes are still far too early in their adventure to be thinking of that. :D
