I've succesfully got the system worked out for the animated Deco sim.
There's something else I'll be trying out before I put together a video for this one as there's slight weight painting inconsistencies in the neck area that may be avoidable..
Right after doing some drastic removals, I've gotten it to work,
I've been jotting down which joints we need to remove so as not to create issues,
I need to next work on the body as something is attracting the elbows which I've yet to work out..
It can't hide forever though!
I've been working on the Animated Deco sims since I returned and I'm very close!
The drag and drop system of being able to apply a sim from ingame to a new body and use new or existing animations is working fine too
The only hiccup atm is some weight painting incosintencies that shouldn't be happening so It may take me till the end of April to try and work it out but i'll get it eventually xx

as soon as I complete a few more things from my official list I'll create another one for the next set of tutorials I'll be working on (with some fillers in case things take a long time to work out to fill the gap) x
So following the last gif, my next video is on "lounge chairs"
I tested a chair that was a different length in parts and discovered I can simply move the main rig to fit, but I can also edit the main game's animations files a bit to make it fit properly
(The main image above the sim's legs are down and he's fitting the chair properly, the other image shows what's like if you leave it, legs straight out back through the ting)
There are tones of files and things I need to check...
I was working on the bed tutorial, noticed the sim clips through the mesh and started to look at the rig slots
So just to see I went and played around with the ones on a chair, which work as intended!
So what's likely to happen is after I make the bed tutorial I'll make a alter slots tutorial to fix the character's movements to better fit the model (or we'll do it on a chair one!)
They'll be ripped up and a new set will be written down~

I've got one more filler to do (spatula) then we're moving onto to the cabinets form the upcomig list x
