Original vs. Retheme [Commission]

Gonna sell the original as an adopt at some point, but the second is a commission for a longtime client who came back out of the blue. I designed their original fursona, so now they've come back for an entirely new character to represent themselves.

The new design is a homage to Midna from Twilight Princess-- whic was requested by the client-- but I'm sure you can tell by the palette. Hopefully she stands on her own, though.

Starting off the Japanese snack sticker set with the ramune bottles to get them out of the way, since I told myself I’d do three of them, and I’m trying to keep them uniform.

So yeah, here’s the coloring style I’ll be employing for the rest of the set. I swear it’s more of a rose pink in person, the lighting in my bedroom just blows.

Some higher-level patrons who have been around since last year may be aware that I did a bunch of concept sketches for a to-be collectio of Junji Ito-themed, 70's shoujo-inspired pins/stickers, and that I hoped to work on them throughout September and october.

I only ever did stickers of Ito's real-life cursed cat, Yon, despite doing some rough stuff for other familiar faces in his work.

So, I decided to return to the Junji Ito collection as a warm-up, and I'll be finishing it up ...

The answer is no, but seeing as this mad lad was cool with paying a bit more than base price for this piece, my poor ass can't exactly say no.

Help Me Brainstorm: Ghibli Sticker Set?

So I’m having fun with warm-ups and want to make more stuff I could sell if I get accepted as an artist for the con I’ve been looking at. If I’m accepted, I’ll start making fan art prints, but until then, doing little doodles I could potentially use as stickers/pins would be fun!

That said, what sort of iconic ghibli characters, creatures, and foods would you like to see? I may do this for other series/films, but let’s start with ghibli for now!
