Everworld Book Guide - #4 Realm of the Reaper

Our four main characters find a mysterious city full of men with high-pitched voices and a mysterious "Her" working behind the scenes. It tries to be sexy about it.

Where I've Been

Hey my lovely patrons. Just wanted to let you know where I'm at right now, why videos have slowed down,  and what the future might hold.

First off, if you didn't know already, I picked up a day job at PetCo in mid-January. It's been an... interesting job, one I hope to not need for much longer. Doctor Who - "Knock Knock" Series 10, Episode 4 REVIEW

Hey, who turned out the lights? Nobody. Nobody turned out the lights. This is the most well-lit haunted house I've ever seen.

(if you're just joining us, since I'm not putting up any early access versions of my new Doctor Who episode reviews, you lovely patrons won't be charged for them)

Doctor Who - "Thin Ice" Series 10, Episode 3 REVIEW

The Doctor and Bill visit the 1814 frost fair, only to discover a vile creature that must be destroyed. Also, there's a monster.

Doctor Who - "Smile" Series 10, Episode 2 REVIEW

The Doctor and Bill travel to a future colony, but where are all the colonists? And why has my smart phone grown arms and feeding me cubes? I blame Isaac Asimov.

Doctor Who - "The Pilot" Series 10, Episode 1 REVIEW

The final season for Peter Capaldi and Steven Moffat kicks off with “The Pilot,” a cheekily-named episode meant mostly to introduce our new companion, Bill Potts. I like her.

(since I didn't offer early access to this video, I won't be charging for it. Will probably be true for the rest of the Doctor Who episode reviews, want to get them up in as timely a manner as possible)

Breaking Spines #18 - "E.T.: The Book of the Green Planet" by William Kotzwinkle

The book sequel to the 1982 Steven Spielberg classic, "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial". E.T. returns to his home planet, where he is sad and there are weird plants. Not exactly deep, this one.

VNA #11 - "The Highest Science" by Gareth Roberts - Doctor Who Book Guide - CtW

What does the Doctor, an infamous intergalactic criminal, an army of cybernetic turtles, three drugged out space hippies and a handful of British commuters from 1993 have in common? Not much, but they're all here anyway.

Sherlock Series Four Review - Things That Are New and Right Now

We look at the fourth series of the hit BBC show Sherlock, which, well, isn't that great. But is it something that just this series does, or is there an issue here that extends to the series as a whole?

Breaking Spines #17 - "Postcards from the Edge" by Carrie Fisher

Carrie Fisher passed away this week at the age of 60. In tribute, we look at her very first novel, a semi-autobiographical tale of a young actress dealing with the aftermath of a drug overdose. And it's also funny!

Breaking Spines #16 - "Planet X" by Michael Jan Friedman
