Sand Dune Material (Substance Designer)

Cracked/Weathered Bathroom Tiles (Substance Designer)

Decided to make something simple. I used flood fill to gradient to define cracked shapes in my tiles, as an experimentation to use what I know to make a pattern. It was successful! If you want to download the material files to use NON-COMMERCIALLY, become a patron!

Tiled Stone Material

During this piece I learned about flood fill and creating more dynamic shapes with gradients.
My only regret was not making it more dynamic in colour, which I'll try to focus on next time.

Red Sandstone + Sand Material

Using multiple tones in gradient mapping creates a more dyamic tone, allowing you to create colours like this sandstone. I used what I learned recently to create this rocky sandstone + sand material :)

Scattered Leaves

I learned how to use patterns as alpha maps for opacity, allowing me to avoid scattering objects in certain areas. Note how there are no stones/dirt texturing on the leaves themselves. This material was an amazing learning experience

 I created this material to practise scattering of shapes, and to practise creating shapes in substance designer. I think it went well!

Once A Year Knife

You're Cool Alcoholic Beverage

I used a site called protobot.org to give me a product design idea. This site provided me with  "Design a beer bottle that boosts your self confidence" which lead me to making this quirky alcoholic drink design. 

It's based around the idea that if you drink this, you'll be reminded that "You're Cool", and the use of humour in the label may improve the mood of the drinker. It's a win win, and a cool marketing strategy for a hypothetical business.

3D Lamp Render

I created this lamp because it's actually one of the lamps that light up the stream everyday. I feel like I did really well, but there's a lot more I can do in future. The background isn't the best, but I'm still very proud of the lamp! My renders should improve in future 

Vector art I made a while back, in Illustrator.

I made this a year or two ago, when practising in Illustrator. Saw it in my old files, so I decided to put it out there for the patrons early! 

Original Logo Sketches

Searching through some files to upload to the Adobe Cloud, I came across the original Document on how I designed the Floodwing logo! I originally designed the bottom part to be a mix between water, and a bird, as you can see in the second version. But after that, I decided to not put so much detail into it and decided to keep it minimalistic with a nice crisp vector version, which ended up the final result.

Seeing this again gives me more inspiration to make alternative versions of ...
