I hope Patreon mobile doesn't butcher these like the last time I tried to upload from here. ;A;

So I'm house sitting for my uncle, and I was a complete silly billy, and accidentally left my flash drive with the current commission I was working on back at home. OOPS. Don't worry, I brought plenty of other commission work and other things along with me, so not all hope is lost.

But what I CAN show you all right now, is this boy.

I finished the Maomao present for my roommate. I've really been enjoying The Apothecary Diaries. I can't wait to read and watch more of it.

He's Just Napping

The last half of this month has gotten so crazy I think I hallucinated posting this here.

But I finally finished this beast of a commission. It challenged me in a lot of ways, and I got really discouraged in the end, because I thought I wasn't skilled enough to have taken on an idea of this caliber. But I pushed through and stuck with it, and I'm proud of myself for that.

The Napping Dragon (WIP)

This piece has been a massive undertaking. And honestly? I was worried I didn't have the skill to push through it. But I took on the commission because I wanted the challenge, and my friend who commissioned me has a lot of faith and understanding in me.

He wanted a custom treasure token for his Magic the Gathering deck, something he could give away to people who beat him in games at meets and tournaments. And he had this vision in mind he wanted me to run with. And I was like, hell yea...

The Ghost King

Hua Cheng became the guinea pig for some watercolor and watercolor pencil work in my sketchbook.

Worked on him on stream, and it was a fun time to cut loose with some personal work. Watercolor isn't a medium I'm completely comfortable with, and I don't get the chance to use it often. And I have never worked with watercolor pencil before. So it was nice to really dig my hand in with this one. I learned a few things, and fought with my sketchbook's paper, but I think he turned out alrigh...

HADES 2????

How about that technical test stream yesterday??? I am so excited for this game. I loved the first one so, so much. And I think it's release was so well, and coincidentally timed, coming out at time where so many of us needed something exciting to share and bond over, and connect.

Have a small collection of the Hades art I've done over the past couple of years. I am compelled to do more!!

Sketch Pages: Gawain

Y'all yell at me enough about how I never seem to draw my own OCs. Well, I'm trying to change that a bit while also being a little more diligent with my sketchbook.

So have some of my vampire 'himbo', Gawain, before and after he became a blood sucker. He has been gnawing on my brainstem recently. I still need to do a proper reference for him, but I find these doodle pages help me not only with consistency in drawing my characters' features, but also as a way to practice different angle...

A Test of Your Watercolor

I kept forgetting to upload these, but since I've had a little bit of a content drought (I've been caregiving for my grandmother the past week) There is no time like the present to post them!

Some Christmas presents for friends that was also an excuse to practice some watercolor. I'm not as skilled as I want to be yet, but I'm making progress! I really learned how to build up color and glaze with both of these.

This was such a FUN concept. I love working with Silent. Her character is fantastic, and she  gives me some cool ideas.  I may offer these as another type of commission. 🤔
