I'm finally going to be releasing the Tasker beta for everyone very soon! :)
This one's a major milestone since it's the first public release in many months. Due to updating Tasker's target API to 28 I had to make some major under-the-hood changes that took a lot of tinkering and debugging to get right. Hope I finally got it :)

I can imagine myself in my living room:
- Point to to left light -> long press button -> it turns on
- Point to the right light -> long press button -> that one turns on
- Point to the TV -> long press up button -> switches to next channel -> long press down button -> switches to previous channel

I'm going to make this a freebie to make up for not being able to do much new development lately :)

Hi :)
When a new user first opens up Tasker, they are greeted to a blank screen where nothing's configured. I realize that can be daunting.
With that in mind, I've created this short video to help people understand what a profile is and how to create their very first automation with Tasker.
This is not public yet :)

I recently got the Samsung One UI update, but found the gestures mode a little too cumbersome to use in general.
But there are certain apps where I don't need the navigation bar that much, but would rather enjoy to have a full screen experience in them.
That's why I created this simple profile that enables gestures mode and gets rid of the status bar only inside certain apps.

So last time I added an option to AutoInput Actions to only enable AutoInput's accessibility service when needed.

Sometimes accessibility services on Android make your device slow. This is an Android issue that AutoInput can't avoid.
However, in the next version, AutoInput will work around this issue by allowing you to enable the service only when needed!
