Tonight while watching Prometheus I started sketching Brieros and Deunan from Masamune Shirows Appleseed. I grew up reading that and Tank police in my teens but I didn't realise I hadn't looked at my really old books for ten or fifteen years!!!! So from memory I just started sketching them. I'm tempted to ink the sketchs and THEN when I'm done actually look at my old books and see if I got them right or my memory was in lala land.

Just inked with a waterproof brushpen because not all brushpens use waterproof ink. The pentel one above is waterproof but my kuratake isn't.

I'm doing some cartoonist doodles of myself as well. It's somewhat therapy as I sneak in self expressive sketches and illustrations. So I just did a vampblade pencil sketch. As you can see I had an idea for the pose but my brain ran out of energy when I got to anything else lol. I've gotta slide her weapon in.... Maybe some monsters or something. This is a classic example of pausing to make sure your customer is happy with the direction your going because if they say "oh I was hoping for boobies" then your simply wasting energy and time doing what your doing
