I was slow and messy but I pushed and managed to draw again today. So I'm going to start finishing stuff and posting it up. I carnt believe how much my arm aches from drawing after over a week of not drawing!!!! I'm sooooo glad I don't drink and I'm StraightEdge because people accuse me of looking like Alan Moore meets silent Bob but I demand I'm the sexy one lol plus you don't know how many sketch I fucked up before this drawing shit going all over the place... Some people mistake making art as a skill you always have turned on...like knowing how to lay bricks or drive once your learn. Part of the problem with this cold is it's turned off my imagination. And done,the pencils are gone. You remember me talking about drawing on a glossy cover stock. Your first problem is the pencils, do them light so you don't mark the cardstock. Then you've got to work out which ink pen will stick on and dry, managed that. But the ultimate issue is rubbing out your pencils. My steadtler above is my most used rubber but it wouldn't take out the pencils. So I tried my putty rubber and it started to take them out and then left huge dark smear marks all over the boobi...

Okay I'm slipping some inking in before I do the shopping list.... This purgatori commission on a blank comic cover. Yesterday I told you how it was glossy and that's hard to draw on. So I'm trying one of my pentel brushpens. The ink is waterproof (and the refills more expensive) but it sits superset ontop of the cover surface for ages. Very slowly I can see it drying much like paint. So if I do it in segments,allowing it to dry before I do the next segment itshould work. I carnt risk inking to ...

Drawing comic pages is slow work. Last night in bed it all came clear to me, just what was going in VeganCaveGirl issue 3. Giant boobies, beards, apocalypses, time travelling, skulls on crotchs!!! Hey I just got these two beautiful new blank X-Men covers for sale. I find it easier doing Patreon and customer covers because you know what you want and then I add to them as I create them. But I kept an X-Men Red one for myself and I still haven't drawn on it lol, it's hard making my own mind up haha
