Summary of April 2020

Last month is a disaster... I thought the pandemic would be over quick, but it's proven that people, who responsible to the threat, is extrememly incompetent that let the prevenable plague spreads. And I thought such blunder only existed in a cheap novel in urged of plots. And look at how wrong I was.

Well, hopefully it won't get any worse. And personally, I'm thankful for all my patreon. Within this mon, I guess I will open some more... contents.

Mini Factory (Draft Extra)

One of my best work yet since the Animal Crosssing one. Only this time, I need to do everything without original reference and need to place all elements by myself.

I can easily say that I'm quite proud of this work. The amount of time and effort I need to put in this is extreme. The colorwork of this picture will take me one week at most.

There will be more epic work like this in the future, so hopefully maybe these works will proven my worthiness.

The month is almost over, but the plague is still not stop. Dear goodness, if this quarantine isn't over soon, it would be all over for me.

Chibi Witch (Draft Extra)

A little work for youtube video. I will show you all later with the process.

The witch is using mostly typical outfit, accessory and tool, adding Chibi style to make her a little cuter. At first, I thought I can do this work very quickly, but it took time more than I though. I may need to working on the background a little bit.

Legitimately, I think it is the first time I have ever repacked my work (by adding accessory). But yeah, let make it better and better!

Good news is I manage to collect a good amoung of money to pay the rent for the next month, but just for the next month. Well, maybe I need to worry about it later.

This should be the first impression about black engineer there. Since black is the color of military science pack, the engineer should be something that reflect it.

Equip with modular armor with leg guard like the OG engineer with two shorter version of regular SMG with maniac look. Since most of the girls there needed to have a short hair so I need to play with a style. Zik zak line would deliver the feeling of craziness that enforced by her unbalance eyes. Iron Overflow

After Factorio has been updated, an amount of iron production has been increased - quite a lot. Goodness, you won't believe how many a patch of iron ore can produce a lot of its plate.

Armed Centaur (Draft Extra)

This is a pretty complicated work. There are so many parts I need to add that I'm afraid it would make this work kinda messy. But I have done it anyway.

She will have a black attire which will be used for the black engineer in the future.

Witch Hunter (No color)

This is the Witch Hunter before she was painted. I spent lots of time to get the costume and pose just right.

Other than that, it's past half of the month already but my rent is mostly up to its due. Who would have thought that 100$ / month is harder to get than its look! But regardless, I need to stay positive and be productive.

It's sorta bullsh*t that you spend quite a time to mining a rock when a robot can do within a second in Factorio, but yeah.

But whatever, that's only one of many reasons why I hate those rocks. >:(

I still need to working on even more works! This one is probably still troublesome to make since a sprite in Factorio is not fairly helpful to catch a minor detail and HD sprite is out of my reach.

So this is what what I can do with normal sprite. I spent a lit of time to make it, but I'm sure it's worth it.

Curious Biter Hybrid (brown)

It's finally finished! The chibi Biter hybrid thingy. Pretty sure people are going to upset about it anyway.

But you know what, not many time in my life that my own work got recognition from the developer themselves. Even I think it's possibly a sarcastic, but when your life is going very low - the only way to do there is look up.

Factorio Crossing (No color)

This is the work before it was colored. For real, this is the most intense work I did ever for parody. It took me a lot of time and energy to do so.

Every detail was needed to be noted and changed. I needed to skip a lot of detail to make it cleaner and not too messy. Some structures are needed to change for another as well.

But I did it quite well anyway. Not as much as I hoped, but not too bad.

Easter Factorio Bunny (Draft)

I'd made an Easter bunny for Factorio fews days ago. He's quite nicer than expected.

Originally, I had planned to make Gear to wear rabbit ears and hold an egg basket. But I just realized people would getting sick of seeing her everywhere so I went on a traditional way instead. The rabbit is not so bad, if you ask me.

Chibi Hybrid Biter (Draft)

Still working on improving this little buggy girl. She should looking cuter than ever now. :)

It's still prety hard to keep both cute and Biter identity at the same time since Biter in Factorio is know to be unpleasant in all way. The first Hybrid that introducing in Reddit did not get a good approvement as other either.

But this is an improvement. I can't wait to see people reaction in the next wednesday.

Magical Gear Girl (No color)

Sorry that I didn't share this early, I have to make this secret to surprise everyone.

Personally, I hate to make a traditional magical girl since they are too... sweet. With all puffy clothes and bows, I hate to make it since they are so overused. So came up with my own idea on making it simple while keep the element of magical girl - cloak, pose, ward, magical stone (Uranium), expression.

It went better than I expected and everyone seem love it. :)

Summary of March 2020

Last month is a good month. I lost 1 patron so far but it could get worse. Maybe I should do more things like livestream? I don't know if people want to look at me drawing the same thing over 5 hours but I should try.
