How to draw Anime face (Head 0 - 0 - 0)

An anime eyescan not be completed without face, so let's get starting.

The first lesson is trying to draw a frontal face that starring to your soul, or somtething similiar. Taking note that nobody can draw two perfectly balance eyes without heavily practicing. Even I can do a major mistake. So, I intentionally draw the face with no thoughtfully callibrating so you can try to drawing  this angle of face with no pressure that your frontal face will not be really frontal.

Comic Strip Draft of this April

Making comic is hard. You need to make the story, then draw and paint it. Coming up with story is not a big deal, however have to make it into picture is. Sometime your story is not possible with your skill, or not making sense when you are half way of it, or it's no longer interesting in your mind when the time pass.

So, I don't know if other people doing this, but I always make a short note what to do with each work. If I have an idea or what should I do in the next day, I will write ...

This, is OpenShot Video Editor.

It's free to use and very dependable. The only problem I have here is I don't have enough RAM to use it to its maximum potential. So all I can do is a basic editing.

The video will coming out soon after I public this work. The raw video is approximately 4 - 5 hours long, but I cut it to under 15 minutes with little hope that it will be entertaining. Real Youtuber life I live there.

To be real about the situation, I have never be this addicting since long time ago. Probably since when I still had more soul and emotion than today. Still arrogant, still young, still naive. Well, sometime being completely stupid is more happier than being half stupid.

This is mostly how I began my color work. Just paint the base color first, shadow second and reflection last. Each character in the picture have their own color set and each color set have their own layer.

In this stage I need to paint shadow and reflection, which took most of my time and pretty tiresome. Bonus if I have found some errors later and need to fix the base color later.

P.S. The Corona Virus really hit the world hard. Even my own country. To be honest, the gov have no idea how to deal with sh*t. I'm kinda worry, but there is nothing I can do regardless. So I just keep it cool, do as much as I can help and pray.

Freestyle drawing today. So I tried to draw a bikini girl with canvas size of A4. Kinda refreshing after days of drawing and drawing.

How to paint : Anime eyes (Type 2)

Disclaimer : this procedue is heavily prefer by tablet than paper. 

This painting technic (Digital) is heavily relied on different shade of shadow and reflextion. By adding different shade, the eyes will look more charming and not too shabby. Still, be careful to not adding to many detail.

 The process is still simple :

1 ) Paint the eyelashes, irises, and white part of the eyes.

How to draw : Anime Eyes (Type 2)

Beside form the basic type. There is at least 3 type of anime eyes people can draw and adapt. This is one of them.

Type 2 (in the picture) is  designed to make drawing irises easier by adding lower eyelids (you don't need to practice drawing circle a lot in this one), which given an advantage to newbie who trying to draw Anime and that is the reason why ther are a lot of variant of Type 2 out there. However it comes with its downsides.

How to paint anime eyes (Basic)

Note : this procedue is prefer by tablet than paper. If you use paper and pencil, I recommend to render only the dark part of the eyes (in process 2) and spare shading the white part of the eyes - maybe a little. Then use your eraser to erase some part of the eyes as reflex light (in process 4)

This is the procedue on how to render anime eyes in the most simple way possible.

How to draw : Anime Eyes (Basic)

One of the reason why anime is so successful is its eyes. Anime eyes have its own charm. They are adaptable, easy to be made, and somewhat looking good.

So the procedure is :

1 ) Draw an eyes level (or just a straight line for a beginner). Then draw upper eyelids. Try to keep it on the line first.

This happened to me lately. I think I need to change my layout of iron production or increase more iron consumption to match the production.

Tips : if you  are drawing a lot, you may experience a muscle pain on your arm or finger which is a good and bad news. The good news is you are getting better at drawing. The bad news is the pain is no joke...

Summary of Feburary 2020

This is quite a flowing month! There is so much things to do. There is so much potential. There is so much plan that need to be done.

I hope the next month is going to be a good one.

Welcome to the jungle (Draft)

Cleaning up a bit and drawing hands and arms. It's really difficult to drawing something to relate to each other.

Tips : out of drawing the eyes -  drawing  mouth, nose, eyebrows, ears are all as important as the eyes. Messing any of them up will result in a ruin work.

I almost f**ked up many time while I tried to draw this, but I'm success anyway.

Tips : If you are looking for drawing an anime girl, remember - Don't drawing with their hand hide behind their back! Drawing hands is essential in all humanoid drawing. Hiding them mean you lose an oppotunity to practice.

Despite hiding hand behind their back looks practically good - it's not worth it.
