The story of Balaam usually starts with Numbers 22, and is usually a story about how God has blessed the Israelites and refuses to curse them. I, on the other hand, will begin the story with Numbers 21, wherein God curses the Israelites with venomous snakes, killing many of them for merely complaining about being thirsty and hungry. Totalitarian

As you can probably tell, this one was a ton of work, but well worth it, as it’s one of my all time favorite episodes of Power Corrupts. Plans for coming videos

I've been working on a powerful script for Power Corrupts, which I plan to animate in August. In the meantime, I have a God & Jeffery video coming out tomorrow, 7/26, which will not be Patreon funded because it's just 3 minutes long and makes no real points. I did it purely because it made me laugh. I was very conflicted about not applying funding to it, because it is privately uploaded now, and youtube demonetized it, and next month will be tight due to my recent expenses.

New Characters

I finished the characters for the next animation (script in the previous post). The background is done, too, and I think it's quite pretty, but there's only room for one image to display, so I'll link it here as an attachment. I still have to mix the audio and do the actual animating. If you look closely, you'll see that the colonist in blue has decided to forego the usual feather in his hat, instead opting for a much more fashionable piece of macaroni.

Is Being Gay Wrong?

Here's the completed video! I was right about the demonetization, but as of typing this, it's still technically under review. Like I said, though, it doesn't matter, because I have YOUR support, so thank you for fixing this problem.

I'm fairly certain this video will be immediately demonetized. It could also be taken down outright through abuse of the flagging system, as other videos supporting LGBT people have, though I'm confident YouTube would eventually rectify that mistake. That's one reason you're so necessary to me. Finished Drawings

These are the finished drawings for the video I'm currently working on, which should hopefully be done next week. Those of you who have followed me for a while know that when I do drawings for videos, I usually put them up on Ebay afterwards, starting at a dollar each. I haven't done that in years, so I'm not sure what to expect. Also, when I did Hitchens and Sagan, they brought in some pretty good bids, but these guys?! lol We'll see.

Drawings for the next video

The next video, tentatively called "Is God Actually The Villain", will show several time-elapsed drawings of infamous characters: Hannibal Lecter, The Joker, Darth Vader, and Thanos. Since Hannibal is the most "normal" looking among them, I tackled him first to see if he'd be recognizable, because I haven't taken pencil to paper in years.

Next episode is turning out well

I don't want to give away too much, so I'm being careful with what I show, but I figured that this frame would be okay to share. I attached two images here. One is the ship taking off, and the other is the ship reaching space. Both images are 1920x1080, made using four different programs. I thought they'd make nice desktop backgrounds.

Building more worlds

The next episode of Power Corrupts takes place in a few large, detailed settings. I made this paradise for the first act, but then it moves on from there to some unexpected locales. I'm hesitant to show those, because it could spoil some plot elements, but as the animation comes together, there will probably be some frames ambiguous enough to share.
