How to sew a simple fursuit tongue

1) Find a piece of soft fabric - I normally use fleece, but this time decided to try some cute pink minky instead. 2) Cut two pieces of fabric so the nap of the pile (if any) flows the same direction and align them right sides together. Start sewing your tongue shapes as a 'u' where the nap flows towards the tip of the tongue. I freehand it but you can use a pattern to make sure the tongue is a smooth curve. Here is one example of the many photos we took in this month's fursuit photoshoot! We went out twice (once at noon and once right before sunset) so there is a good selection of lighting levels this time around :D & I am learning a lot about my camera settings so thank you for that! All this space! !! my last shelf was maybe a 12th of this and I couldn't fit everything vital into it. Now with the extra storage I'll be able to expand my pre-made color range versus having to remix everything all the time.
