The model is smaller/shorter than the client, so the photos are a bit baggy in the legs and rear (we padded the chest/belly); I cannot wait to see properly-fitted client photographs!
I love the very striking colours. The bright eyes and claws are a great contrast to the dark furs.

I score it using a Dremel sanding drum but you can use sandpaper as well. Gives a much more secure hold no matter what part you’re gluing down (claws etc). Sand them all! 😄

Here he is! There are so many great details on this suit :D Upper arm tattoo, wagging tail, adorable goatee, that smile!
The teeth and tongue are a brand new sculpt (my first time trying a sculpted tongue!) and they totally elevate the head to 11! Also my first time using aida cloth for tear ducts and wow!! I'm a believer ;)

Woo! Here I am back from my three week winter holiday/Family visit.
It was a really nice, relaxing trip up to Canada and we had a lovely first Christmas with my nephew and extended family ^_^ We did not have a winter Christmas last year, so this year my eldest daughter (5 years old) learned to skate, went downhill sledding often, and we built several snowmen (carrot nose and all).

I finally had a chance to take most of my fursuit head molds outside to clean away all of the fine, sticky ash that had covered the insides and outside after the Thomas fire. After gluing and trimming, I am handsewing the fur down to the foot before I attach the parade sole. It's not strictly needed but it is always good to make *extra* sure that something won't come loose in the future with time & wear. Since this is a lot of layers to sew through, I'm using a leather needle. These needles come to a very very sharp triangular point intended to slice through tough leather hides. Definitely don't want to poke yourself!
