WIP Commission for LunarKeys!

Hoooowee, I'm really happy with how this sketch turned out. The big difference on how I went about things this go around was to allow myself time to consider how I wanted to pull things off and the ability to step away from the piece for a day so I could come back to it with a pair of fresh eyes. Needless to say, I wanna do with all of my pieces going forward.

How many light sources can you spot in this one? Spoilers: It's more than just my usual 1, but I think it really helps add some depth and interest to the piece. I'm not sure if I wanna keep using it for every piece, but it's definitely something I wanna try out every now and again.

Some of things I'm happy I reminded myself to do with this one was... use references. Even if it's something you think you have a solid grasp on, reference it anyways. And use multiple references at once, so you're not pulling directly from any one image.

In the end, we changed the length of the human form's ears, but not much else!

Aaaand here's the finished piece! The original idea was to add an additional character and have them interacting, but when that fell through we opted to just stick with a speech balloon.

Commission for WWCO

I gotta admit, full illustrations are probably my favorite thing to draw. I love setting up a scene and trying to tell a story with little details. While I do what the main focus to be on the character, I'd also like your eye to be able to wander and still the same level of enjoyment.

In any case, WWCO is always great to work with and I'm thankful for the chance to stretch my proverbial illustration wings again.

Commission for Hymek

This was an interesting one! Hymek has a character based off an old comic series where their character can "scrunch" their shape into whatever they want. This go around, they requested that she be mid tf into a cat. Not something I usually do, but I think I proved myself capable enough.

Also... no WIP for this one, because honestly, I have no idea where it got to. :x

Heya folks, just a quick update: To make things a bit more manageable for myself, I've edited up some of the tier rewards, including getting rid of the discord group. However, I'm still adding the ability for Bee tier (Previously Hive) to add me on discord for ease of the getting info for the monthly drawing.  Hope you guys understand.

Aaand here's the final piece! I'm pretty pleased with how the background turned out. The contrasting colors and little bits of details in the ground and the sky really helped pull the piece together, in my opinion. Definitely something I'd like to do more with in the future.

One of my usuals is back with another character design. Kooncds is known for his love of muscley, anime boob'd ladies and this one is no exception! I actually had a lot of fun working out her hair and face on this one, 'cause stoic ladies with long hair are pretty up there on favorite subjects to draw!

Aaand here's the finish piece! I'm quite happy with how it turned how, especially with how the fur turned out. Those clothing scraps are barely hanging on at this point. :x

Aaaand here's the final piece for ZeRedMoon! Overall it was a lot of fun, especially in trying to work out how to incorporate aspects of both the new and old design. Still gotta say, robo arm is still probably my favorite part. 

WIP for Bee Patron Iarann!

Heya folks. We've got a bit of a batch upload coming up today, so keep an eye out for that, if you're at all interested.

This go around we have our first Hive piece. For a quick recap: Patrons in the Hive tier get a half body, flat color piece each month. Additionally, Hive pieces also take priority over commissions, unless they subscribe later in the month. In which case it gets done at the end of the commission list, then migrates to the top of the list the following month.

WIP for ManakDanak Commission

For this one, ManakDanak asked for a human to mouse style tf, while requesting the overall feeling for the piece to be more on the sensual side, which I am all for. They had a specific pose in mind, and even included a reference, which we all know makes my job a hell of a lot easier.

In the end, we had to edit the position of the arm and the visibility to the face. We also end up making some big changes to her feet as I learned how to draw rodent style paws. We'll see how it turns out...

Back again with another pretty straight forward commission design. ZeRedMoon asked for his character transforming from his old design to his new design. While the designs were somewhat similar, there were a few things that needed to be incorporated in order to make it actually appear like a transition, namely wing size and the robot arm. Aaand here's the end result! Added in the simple shape background, flats, shading, highlights, detailing, rim light... I'm also starting to learn how important color variation can be. If you look closely, I added some color variation around the stomach, pants, and various parts of the fur that, I think, really helped draw points of interest.

WIP for CoyoteDrunkly Commission

Weeee've goooot... a bear TF. Probably some of my favorite, which I know is probably shocking to hear about. But at least it's out in the open now. The concept for this commission is pretty simple: human to bear anthro tf. The design for the character is based off a coyote anthro character, but it's easy enough to interpret him as a bear.

CoyoteDrunkly even went as far as to give me a little doodle of what they were looking for, which I have to say is so, extremely helpful. I've learned...

MissMarilith Commission

End result!

I ended up balancing out some of the color, as well as trying out a different way to interoperate color variation by using a huge brush to put in gradations at various points. I personally think this turned out the best in her hair. I think it just looks so much more eye catching. I also went with more subtle shading and highlights. As much fun as big glossy highlights all over the place can be, I think it can look a bit odd at times.

Aaand Bam! The colors for this piece came pretty easily. When you're working with something as eye catching as pink, you really want to pair it with colors that are a bit more toned down, so I went with 2 shades of grey for the first two outfits, and a pure white for the last. MissMarilith also requested some paw print patterns.
