Just an update with what I've been working on recently.
1) GM tools for Pathbuilder 2e. I've been developing a way for GMs to view their player's sheets, like in the first image attached. In case you weren't aware, Paizo pushed back the release date of Secrets of Magic to 1st September due to international shipping issues. I'm also releasing the Pathbuilder 2e update on the 1st September, (as are the other providers like Archives of Nethys etc).

I can see that I made the classic "Windows 8" mistake of serving up a mobile layout to desktop users, and it's not gone down too well in some quarters. I've completed stage 1 of the web version of Pathbuilder 2e - which is pretty much what free users will experience. There was a slight delay as I decided to take some time off before launching - I needed to restore some sanity after lockdown.

Well aonprd still haven't got Gods and Magic up on their site, and the Gamesmastery Guide isn't out in the UK until 10th March, so I've been working on the PC version of Pathbuilder 2e.
I ran into some pretty tricky technical issues with it, and it looked like I was going to need separate apps for win64, win32, mac etc etc so I started to explore making a web app version which would run on anything.

Another general update. Last week I did a few updates to Pathbuilder 2e for bug fixes, in particular how it handles focus points and pools (it wasn't respecting the sidebar rules from p302). I'm still waiting for Gods and Magic to go up on 2e.aonprd so I can run my web scrapers, harvest the data, and add it to the app. Hopefully it will go up this week as next week is half term for my kids so I'll have less time.

Well what a week this has been.
Last Friday I found out that the host of the Pathbuilder 1e online shared builds database had messed up a server migration. My database was left with most of its data and tables missing. I immediately released an update which temporarily closed down those functions on the app. However, to do this I had to update the app to androidx to comply with google requirements. Well, the "little bit" of work to do on Pathbuilder 2e took me longer than I thought, but it's out now. Animal Companions, Familiars, buffs, custom armor, custom shields, custom weapons are not available.
After Christmas (I'm going to take a proper break from this for a couple of weeks) I'm going to do some maintenance work on Pathbuilder 1e, and add the Omdura base class.

If you want my next project to be Steam Pathbuilder 2e, then favourite this post.
I have plans to develop a PC version of Pathbuilder 2e and make it available via Steam for PC. The advantage of this over a web version is 1) I can reuse my java backend and just remake the UI in javafx, 2) Steam can handle the financial side of things and keep the app updated. 3) There are no ongoing server costs 4) My web skills are pretty shonky.

Thought I'd update you on Starbuilder progress. It's a bit slower than I'd hoped for various reasons, but I thought I'd show you were it is up to. With the release of 2e coming up in August, and the school holidays, its not going to be finished until later in the year. The engine is working fine, but there is still a fair amount of data to add.
