2020 is almost upon us!
I have a set amount of personal goals each month, mostly to finish X amount of chapters, or draw a set of sprites etc.
However, I wanted to share you my goals for the next year and the direction of Tailor Tales. My programmer should have time for me again so we can work on these projects. Here's my list!

I'm taking care of my cat who had to undergo surgery again, so time is a little tight. No worries, I'm still working, but not enough to post updates about. I'll post the next biweekly update in two weeks!

We've reached 200 names for the name list! Thanks everyone for signing up your name. I think 200 is a good cut off point so that the VA can begin to record the names.
There will be 4 variations of each name. There will be neutral, smoldering, annoyed and yelling. Whether I'll be using all of these, I'm unsure, but it's nice to have in case I need it in the future!

Joselina, the MC, will have a winter outfit in James' 1st CG. I haven't yet decided on which outfit that should be, so I'll ask what you think I should pick instead!
Only #4 has pants, the rest are tights. #1 has pearls stitched on top of the sweater. Shoes are unimportant haha.

So turns out I did an oopsie and uploaded the normal $4 tier version with some Plus content.
$4 tier Players who started a new game were able to read side stories, smutty epilogues etc. as long as it didn't show an actual CG etc. Once any images were involved, there would be an error.
Since I know some players actually prefer it without the smut, I deeply apologize for unwittingly letting you walk into the smut parts! That was my fault. The normal version has been patched to, well...

You get to decide! What with James' route underway, Caine's 1st side story has yet to be created. Since main routes take priority, side stories take a back seat. However, that doesn't mean I can't already plan it in advance. So let's hear from you - what kind of side story are you interested in seeing from Caine?

Some users reported seeing an error when loading their manual save file, making them unable to start the game.
Please do not start a new game. We are looking into this issue. We will try and save your old save file! Please hang tight.
Edit: crisis averted. If you update your game again, you should be able to load your manual save without any errors! :)

To celebrate the start of James' route, I thought a nice Patreon perk would be to have James voice your player name (whenever it shows up).
James' VA will voice all the new names, and the correct name will play based on your current player name (if they match!). Because James won't speak your name until at least a couple of chapters in (he's a stubborn one), I still have time to add in this new feature.

I honestly wanted to add this before Caine's epilogue was out (since you end up sexting with him in the epilogue), but alas, it took a while to get started.
However, my programmer found some time and managed to code the new phone message system! There's now an actual interface for the text messages and characters will even take a while to type their message to you. Pictures and emojis are also available. Scrolling through your current message history is also possible!

It comes with a list of general warnings that doesn't contain too many spoilers, and a list of warnings that DO contain spoilers but these are optional to view.

Game Progress

Firstly, I want to say Scriblz did a wonderful job at drawing Caine's ending credit CG! I will most likely have guest artists do the ending CGs from now on, seems like a fun thing to do :)
That said, Caine's route is completed, so you can now read his entire route in PDF format, just download the attachment on this post.

I updated the game with a small fix. Some users reported crashing during the last update, most likely due to the new dynamic tinting option I added.
It is now located in the main menu under Misc Settings. By default, it should be off. Players who didn't have any issue with freezing and enjoyed seeing characters tint darker during night time, please turn this option back on.

- His PoV from chapter 2 (around 2k words)
- Takes place after the main story, something cute and smutty about MC and Dimitri playing a video game together (around 6k words)
