Just spent the day at the the Sound Effects Studio! What an amazing time! I got to see/hear clips of the forthcoming Space Cadet animated feature... with ambient and atmospheric sounds as well as foley and sound effects! Dapperness, Homemade suits, Matching bowties

Hey Everyone!

My mom found this photo of me at my Uncles wedding. My mom sewed a full suit jacket and pants as well as a matching bowtie. Looks like the shirt was patterned as well. You can tell from the expression on my face that I'd probably be more comfortable in a hoodie and jeans. LOL!

In other news! I'm in the studio full time now working on the Space Cadet animated film soundtrack. More updates on all of that soon!

During some of the daytimes while we are in San Francisco for our 10 show residency, I've been recording the strings for the forthcoming animated feature film, Space Cadet.

The film score will contain pieces from the original graphic novel soundtrack as well as several new musical pieces I've written on piano and turntable.

Behind the scenes, Lights, Compositing, Edits in Space!

Hi Everyone!

It's been a busy but fun few weeks here! I've been spending time in the animation studio (working with the lighting/compositing teams), the edit suite (checking transitions of sequences with the editor) and the recording studio (recording new cues or adjusting timing of fades to match the video). We are closing in on the final weeks of the (visual side) of the production on the Space Cadet film.

Thought I'd take this quiet moment before the show to do a 1-take video tour of The Storyville Mosquito stage set up. Please excuse the sometimes wobbly camera work! I tried to visit all the different aspects of the stage within 12 minutes!
