Paw licking! I always end up drawing paws, no matter what XD
Well, here we have Nuggies and Toki the Husky.
In this case the rough sketches weren't that different, I just wanted to find the best angle to show all the action, which at times is just a huge deal XD
This month's Sponsor tier will still revolve around exploring color, but through a much more "solid" approach to painting. As you may notice in these tests, I'm trying to make solid shapes and bolder brush strokes.

A very white picture today! For Yoko. who gave me the chance to play with a very nice scenario full of white mountains and cold weather ^^
I had several pretty poses for this one, really was difficult to chose one, but he decided to go for the last one

Had a great time working with this pic for Sheep and BearKing!! , one of the few straight scenes I've drawn :P but very enjoyable. Also notice the bunch of confused fellows on the back!!

I really enjoyed working with this topic which is indeed a super great chance to mix my love for motorcycles, leather suits and the furry stuff. And also had the chance to draw him a helmet! ^^
This was a very straight forward pic, here are the lines of it
This is Christoffer's reward I'm using as an example! haha, hope he is Ok with that.
This time I want to experiment with colors a bit, brushes and a very natural way to paint, so the May's tiers will be a bit more "colored" but subject to "incompleteness" or rather say, artistic happenings.
In this particular picture he gave me the chance to use one of my characters and a lot of artistic freedom to create, and this is the result.

I think I've drawn like 3 fennecs in total. Always nice to work with them. Their references always have one pose with a mad face XD Guess the species gets angry easily?
Anyways, Pin Ups are of my favs, they are very effective to show characters, and to play with their poses ^^

Working with this kind of environments is a pleasure, mostly because you can imagine yourself in them, and think how it would be to wander around, and discover the place.

Lovely pic I did for him, there I learnt bunnies do not have paw pads. Yet many of you guys ask them with paw pads, which is good ^^

In this part I finally get to the fun part! The coloring of the figure. This time I am using a very simple round brush to create the volume of the cat's body, by alternating from lights to shadows.
You will notice how I like to put rough blobs of color, and then work from that by in-bet weening colors to make soft transitions.
Part 5 will handle finishing touches and details!!
Yesss I do love to work with that specific guy ;)

I love his character so much! I remember he saw the past pic I uploaded (ADAM) and wanted a similar picture.
In this two pics I was beginning to explore the coloring through hard edged brushes, without softening strokes too much. Gives a lot of structure, but consumes a lot of time!
