Even though we had a mid-week video catching up on news, we've still got a packed show today. The Last of Us Part II has high pre-orders, music problems, and accessibility features galore! Bloodborne PC rumors return, but with a PS5 version. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney still for some reason has to explain himself and PS5 advancements on Twitter, and we've got three patents revealing some PlayStation goodness. Also, just an FYI - I recently ordered a new PS Vita from Japan and I'm hyped. <...

Looks like we have a new rumored PS5 event date, and it's not far off from the previously discussed June 4th. With multiple sources now chiming in, we may be getting our first real look at a PS5 games lineup in just a week. We're also hearing more about how Sony wanted to handle this showcase, that they were apparently rejecting doing an earlier show. Aside from that, we talk up the latest State of Play, dedicated to The Last of Us Part II. Shout out to PlayStation Vita making an appearance i...

Even though we just did a video covering all the PS5 rumors, we keep getting new ones every day. And while most of them aren't easily believed, things like Silent Hill and Gran Turismo 7 seem like very likely candidates. This week we also Sony's corporate strategy meeting to go over, TLOU Part II's swanky PS4 Pro, PS Now, John Carmack, and... Gears of War 3? Running on PlayStation 3? Do my eyes deceive me? Normally they do, but not this time! I know right, exciting week. Thankfully we've only...

As we work our way through the first week of May, news slowed down a bit on the PlayStation side of things while Microsoft held their 'gameplay' showcase. Thankfully, there were still some PS5 game announcements there, and a few others throughout the week. We also now have a better picture of what happened regarding The Last of Us Part 2 leaks, so we go over that. EA also kinda slips out that free next-gen upgrades will be available for both consoles, except there's a time limit for their gam...

If there's a running theme here, it's that everyone is getting impatient with Sony and Microsoft for proper reveals of their next generation machines. Well, hopefully the wait isn't much longer as we're hearing both sides are planning events for sometime early to mid May. Aside from that, we have a patent about a robot that watches you play games because you're too lonely, and another (less exciting) patent about the PS5's innards and potential cooling solutions. Then there's MORE leaks, MORE...

Well it started off as more of a slow week after the DualSense craziness started to wind down, but then we got a bunch of product listings and a new (boring) firmware. But then, Bloomberg swooped in with a pretty wild report about PS5 manufacturing, the cost of the hardware, and Sony's foiled promotional plans. So we spend a good portion of the show breaking all of that down. And then afterwards, I break dance. Off camera though, sorry. The worlds not ready yet for these moves.

Hey all -- Apologies for not posting in awhile. But we're here now and it's time to fill you all in on how things are going! Especially during this odd time where we're either all home, or out risking an untreatable virus. The work flow for me is largely unchanged considering we can continue videos from home, but it's obviously still change...

What a busy week! Sony gave us our first look at the PS5 controller, the DualSense! And since then, we've learned a few extra details. So let's go over those, while addressing some other concerns. Then we have the social media blowout, Phil Spencer talking up Series X, The Last of Us Part II clips leaking online, MORE Silent Hill rumors, and even a developer praising PS5 a little too much? Don't worry, we got it all here. Even the step-child that is PS Now. Sad to refer to it like that, I kno...

Another week of not so healthy PlayStation news as we face delays from every corner of society, and narratives being thrown around about.. game consoles. Uncharted movie? Oh yeah, that stood no chance. But The Last of Us Part II, has indeed been delayed again! Now Gamescom might be on the chopping block. What about PS5? We'll cover that, and some new (albeit minor) technical details we learned this week. And in other unrelated news here in the description, I'm very close to earning the Death ...

This week we have a lot of updates to cover from previous rumors! We can close the case on Sony buying Remedy, PS5 backwards compatibility, and.. the Silent Hill rumors? Maybe not. But this week we're talking developers, and some of their more candid thoughts on next generation development. We also get a whiff of what the PS5 UI will be like, or at least the goals of it. Fast, and easy - almost like Netflix. Also, don't make Nintendo stuff in Dreams. Unsurprisingly, they don't like it. And no...

What an insane week of next-gen news! Microsoft starts off Monday by giving us video demos, features, and full specs of the Xbox Series X. Then a mere two days later PS5 architect Mark Cerny delivers the PS5 specs and tons of analysis on fine tuning the hardware. With so much news, comes even more questions. Sony gave a weird update to backwards compatibility, the teraflop won't stop, and the UNCHARTED MOVIE DELAYED FILMING. I know, who didn't see that one coming?!

What a rollercoaster of a week we've had. E3 2020 has been cancelled, a major AAA PS4 exclusive goes to PC, Naughty Dog is crunching, Silent Hills may be back into our lives, and PS5 might have 11 teraflops. But above all else, the wildest piece of news we'll be discussing today - The Uncharted movie will begin filming. Confirmed. It's gonna happen. I can't believe it. I want to be an extra. Let me be NPC #4. I've got what it takes.

Well, yesterday was a busy day as that's where most of our news came from. We got a surprise HBO TV series for The Last of Us, a release date for Ghost of Tsushima, but also AMD's Financial Analyst Day. They pretty much heavily implied PS5 will also be using RDNA 2 architecture much like Xbox Series X, so great news there. BUT! Sony Santa Monica's Shannon Studstill is headed to Google Stadia. And who could forget more Remedy Entertainment rumors. I didn't. And that's why you're here. Reading ...

Another week with Sony silence on PS5! And yet here we are, Microsoft walks in and gives us their teraflop number! They also detail quick resume and smart delivery, both of which are something we'll likely see on PS5. Speaking of PS5, we have some rumors to go over, new and old. We have a possible announcement date of March 3rd that might have slipped.. Oh, and PS4 firmware. My favorite. SYSTEM STABILITY. YES.

Looks like Sony got cold feet, and they're stepping away from both PAX and GDC after committing to being there. Is there some sort of greater meaning to this? (Uh no). However Sony's CFO did mention in the earnings call that PS5 would have a comparable reveal like the past. We also have ANOTHER patent, and... a real life Platinum trophy? As if I'll ever actually win that. *cries*

Woah! What's this? A Remembering video? I used to do these a few years back, where I look at one particular game and reflect on it. It's place in time, the quality of it, the genre, so on and so forth.
After awhile, the Remembering videos made less and less sense. I filmed a few that never saw the light of day until now. I mostly disliked them because they were too specific, and just kind of a cheap video to do on my end. I didn't nearly as much into them. You co...

It seemed like it was going to be a quiet news week right up until a new Bloomberg report came out regarding PS5's component prices. So naturally, we cover the whole article, not only about Sony's target price, but also the supply constraints and PSVR. This week we also have another fake leak, a new patent, TLOU Part II, and also the price Sony paid for Insomniac. Also! Dreams is out today! Now you can Dream about Dreams in your Dreams after you played lots of Dreams today. Dreams.

Got a lot more PS5 news to round up from the week, with more trademarks flying around, websites going up, and leaked pictures going out. It's PS5 nonstop and yet Sony is still taking their sweet time. BUT! They did give us some small insight on price. Also, Phil Spencer made some bold claims about how they don't consider Sony a main competitor anymore, we gotta talk that up. That, and many more as usual on the best 20 minutes you'll spend this Friday.

Another week goes by where Sony stays silent! And yet everyone else has been saying a lot of stuff. Some are even totally faking it. Today we cover the fakes, the unreliable insiders, some insiders that might have a shot, and a survey. A survey about remote play of course, on.. Nintendo Switch? A mini Dualshock? Keyboard and Mouse Support? PS1 and PS2 backward compatibility? Okay yeah this is getting weird. Sorry for making this description uncomfortable.

Welcome to unreleased video #5.
This one is a doozy. This is by far, the MOST I ever did for a video with the SMALLEST return possible. This is also something where, when it comes to YouTube, you can't really preach 'make what you want'. Sometimes it has to be something others want.
So the idea here is, I love the Katamari games. And if you've ever played one, you know the writing in it is absolutely hilarious. In the games collection menu, ther...

Everyone is really starting to get impatient waiting for Sony to announce a reveal event, and it seems like this might be spurring more and more people to come forward with information that they might not even have. We discuss a slew of rumors regarding studio acquisitions, The Order: 1886, Silent Hill, and a new Horror IP by Sony? We also talk a little bit about Series X's recent SSD info, and the leaked Godfall footage. So hopefully, we can wait a little bit longer until we get more factual...

Well this is for sure one of those weeks where if you're a PlayStation faithful, you're probably a little shaken up right now. But let's digest the news! Sony is ditching E3 2020, so that early rumor was true. But the Horizon: Zero Dawn PC rumor has resurfaced, and now it's coming from a more recognizable source. What does this mean for the PlayStation brand? Also there's been plenty of PS5 mockups that we've ignored but here's one that looks kinda "real". Overall the PS5 hype and now Sony fu...

Moving away from the last few weeks of constant rumors, Sony has provided us with some official news regarding PlayStation 5. And while it's not anything groundbreaking, it's still refreshing to hear the company slowly ramp up the console. We have a logo which blew up the internet, and ANOTHER PS5 dev kit leak. (Someone's probably fired). Jim Ryan said a lot about the controller, logo, and unique features that he won't tell us. And we still have some rumors regarding an acquisition, a job lis...

Hi Patrons! Here's another unreleased video! EXCLUSIVE. TO YOU. Congrats, because this monstrosity of a video shouldn't be seen by anyone. I think the best way to describe this one, is 'digging to the bottom of the barrel'.

Technically it's still a pretty slow news week, it's just that what we have, has been worth a LOT of discussion. The PS5 teraflop rumor really snowballed and now we have some slight updates on that. But we also got a last minute rumor about backwards compatibility again. And while it's not a very confident rumor, this is a great time to talk about Sony's options in this area and why it may or may not be advantageous for them. Also the Uncharted movie is never coming out. And I'll probably kee...

So, this was going to be a pretty quiet news week except yesterday we had quite the storm brewing. A recent datamine of AMD parts revealed some Oberon information, which if you crunched the numbers on, would give us a lower than expected teraflop rating for PlayStation 5. This would go against most of what we've heard so far relating to Sony's next generation hardware, so we spend a good amount of time going over that. We also have a new controller patent which, looks familiar, and yet someth...

Okay hold on everyone! BIG news from The Game Awards this year, not only did we get a release window for Ghost of Tsushima but we got the first example of a directly announced PlayStation 5 game, AND a look at Microsofts next-gen console, the Xbox Series X. And you KNOW we have to talk about that thing. We also have the rest of the news from this week! Another patent, a recent hire, an exclusive lost, FFVII Remake, PS5 Pro, so much. We also have some cool facts from Sony's 25th PlayStation anniversary, and I lay down the facts on the Horizon: Zero Dawn PC rumor. A very long episode this week indeed. So you might wa...
