Bonus credit segment length

So we've got a new bonus credit for you all hopefully tomorrow. This one's an hour long, which led me to wonder... what length do you all prefer? We've done a lot of 30 minute ones which to me (brandon) seemed like a good length because the segments are of variable length and about scattered topics, with no subject intro, etc. But sometimes we just have a lot of extra stuff and it winds up being this long.

I can see a few ways of doing this for months where we've got extra content like...

A SMALL SELECTION OF THINGS REFERENCED:

Something new that Esper and Brandon are working on

There's a VJ event happening in a while that Esper and I (brandon, hello) are participating in. Esper's doing the all the actual work, I just chose the music and provided the video.

The video is all taken with one of two crappy digital cameras that I bought during my first trip to Japan in 2003 after discovering they could record short clips, and all the "footage," shaky cam and all, is from that time. I've never shown this stuff anywhere because there's never really been anything to d...

... because frank is off doing something for the video game history foundation and didn't respond to my email (hi, it's brandon writing this).

Anyway - we did the list differently this time, where we each brought a personal list of favorites and recommended them one by one. I think it worked pretty well! Obviously with this system not every game would get discussed, so as usual we're presenting our individual lists for your enjoyment.

Is discord a good idea?

We were thinking (this is brandon, hello), since we have a discord for recording the show, maybe people here would like to be in it. Would it be too weird and gatekeeping to have the discord be patrons only? Locking discord behind a pay wall feels a little weird, and I'm not even sure how into it folks would be.

On the other hand we already have the forums for everybody, and I'd imagine the discord to be slower paced and more manageable if it were only patrons. Well, let's first start...
