Some logo and title design ideas...

...for Black Label.  Logo and title designs have always been a challenge for me.  It's one of those things I'd really like to get good at, but it's art form in itself.

I'm going for something that you might see on the side of a high end spirit bottle.  Top shelf stuff.  And I definitely want to do something with locks and keys.  Gotta have those.

Weekly Update 5.8.2017

A couple things to go over…

First of all, you guys are AWESOME! Not only has your support given me the ability to free up time to draw, but you’ve also made it possible for me to table at some conventions this year, including Sac Anime Con! This will be the first time I’ve done Sac Anime in years as it always sells out as soon as it opens, and has gotten more and more expensive each year. But I’m going to be there!

Here is a list of the conventions I’ll be attending so far:

Leather Work Comic!

I did not think I was going to make it home tonight.  I did not think I was going to be awake enough to work on the comic.  And I didn't think I was so close to finishing.

A couple touch ups I still want to make, but it's close enough to post here for you guys (it's midnight now, so feel free to check my spelling and grammar).  This one won't be going up on DevArt until June for Father's Day.  I did come up with two, simple, four panel comics that I want to do.  Kind o...

2 Questions for you...

1) what do you think of BLACK LABEL as a title? Do you have a better idea?

2) should I change Meg and Ellie's Character designs so they look less Sunstone-y?

Okay, that's three questions but I want your thoughts. I got called out for work unexpectedly today so there will be no time to draw but maybe we can get this figured out.

Leather Work pg 1

Finally done!  The age progression was really slowing me down, but page one is off my bulletin board!

There's only one panel of the four page comic left to do and it'll be done.  So excited to finally have something finished that I can post over on DevArt...except that this comic isn't slated to go up until June 18th (father's day)...and I also wrote an extra bonus page to go with it... ^^;

Anyway, let's get this comic done this week, shall we?

Consentacles!!!

This is my second tentacle pic and I'm pretty happy with it.  Still needs some touch ups here and there, but it will be ready for Hentai-Foundry soon.  Will have the HiRez image available for you guys as well as a the .psd file.

She looks like she's having fun. :)  As you know, I have a bunch consentacle stories sitting in a file folder waiting for the day that I might unleash them upon an unwitting public.  With this pic, I am one step closer. :D

Panel from the Leatherwork comic...

...which will hopefully be done soon.  Only six panels to go and really want to get it off my bulletin board.  I swear, the pages have been staring daggers into me, but each of the remaining panels have their own unique set of challenges that have been frustrating the crap out of me.  Still, I'm really proud of this comic and I've been learning a hell of a lot from it. :)

Weekly Update 5.1.2017

Exhausted after a busy three days of travel and work, but I’m back (stayed up late to finish a post that will go up shortly)! Have a couple page elements I might share as well, just so you guys know I’m working. ;)

Val bonus comic...

This is part of a fun, three part bonus comic for the end of THE NOVICE story arc.  I came up with it this past weekend and decided to knock it out while it was still fresh in my mind.  I know I have more important stuff to work on, but I swear, it didn't take too much time.

Val has certainly come a long way as a character.  I've dedicated a lot of writing time to her and she has been a tough nut to crack, but her overall character has become pretty clear in my mind in the past ...

Weekly Update 4.24.2017

Okay, lot’s to do. Spent the weekend house hunting with my wife, my anniversary is on Thursday and next weekend I will be on the road again for work, so I’m going to pack as much drawing into the next three days as I can. Gonna run out and finish all of my errands when I’m done writing this, and then I’m just gonna draw, draw, draw!

Finally, things are coming together!  This has been a productive week with a lot of normy work landing on my desk, but I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel for this one.

Book cover art...

...for studio.  Came out all right.  Seems a bit stiff and I'm not thrilled with the colors.  Her hair was more of a true blond before, but I had to mute it down to match her colors in a previous book.

Next post will most likely be Friday.  Will be a fun, sexy post of some sort! :)

I’m sitting here feeling rather dazed. I just noticed that I have 101 Patrons.

This boggles my mind! When I started this I figured I’d get a dozen follower or so. Maybe make an extra fifty bucks to cover printing or groceries. Enough to convince the people in my life that yes, drawing my silly, bondage comics is definitely worth my time. 101 of you seem to agree.

Very excited to be finishing some pages which will be going up later this week! Working on The Novice: Disobedience, which was originally going to be five pages, but is now up to six!
