...came together pretty quickly!

Was supposed to get home days ago.  Finally got home this morning.  And I leave town tomorrow night.  Lost most of my free time.

Will post something else before I leave tomorrow.  Not sure what, but I'll have something. :)

Ugh...

...I had high hopes for this week. It’s not even Wednesday and everything is going to shit.

Fortunately everyone is healthy, this is merely the result of this being December (the busiest time of the year for everyone).

Will update when I can. Not sure what it’ll be, but I’ll make it good!

...I was supposed to get home yesterday afternoon, but I won’t be back till tonight. 😓 So I’m doing this update on my phone. Technology!

Big stuff for the week when I get home, packing for the move. business travel again next weekend. Hammered out some fun new stuff script-wise for Black Label last night. Very excited to get to it!

I realized something interesting: in the summer I'm a morning person, in the winter I'm a night owl.  Must be the cold temp.

If you've followed my old account on DevArt, then you know BORN was a story idea involving Japanese mythology that I really wanted to pursue.  Unfortunately, I had to shelve it at the time.  Now it's back!

Weekly Update 11.27.17

Big news!

You may recall a while back about Scattered Comics wanting to produce one of my books. I’ve been mulling over whether or not I was going to go for it as I’m fully invested in BLACK LABEL and AMAZON. My wife and I had a pretty long, productive conversation about it and I managed to strike a deal with Scattered that will leave me with plenty of time to work on my own stuff. So…yeah, I’m going for it!

A few details about the deal:

...is slowly coming together.  Going to scrap the first panel and add another panel to the end.  Going to keep the action from panels 2-4 but probably going to resize them a bit.

Amazon pg 28...

...is finally done!

Well, mostly done.  Couple little fixes I want to make to the last panel.  Drawing three characters in a single panel is a challenge.  Drawing 5...takes me a while. ^^;  Whole reason I've been avoiding AMAZON as most of the...action scenes involve 3 or more characters.  No more avoidance though.  Gotta get this one finished.  My wife really wants to read it. :)

Going to work a little on AMAZON then I'm hitting the road tomorrow for Thanksgiving.  will return Friday.  Hopefully I'll have something to share before the weekend begins.  This weekend officially kicks off the holiday season for me, and the holiday season is busy for everyone.

So I got a commission for a male tentacle pic featuring Hyakuya Mikaela from Kechimyaku no Sekai (The World of Blood Legacy).  I believe their exact words were, "I see you can do tentacles.  However, I haven't seen much of the tentacles on male so I'm here to commission this."

Weekly Update 11.20.17

Whew, another busy weekend is over! Was hoping to make an extra post last week, but I had to hit the road for a few days. Managed to finish the line art for a couple commissions and will hopefully have one of them done tonight!

...it’s been well over a month since the last comic went up, so I’m going to switch back to my original plan. I had two extra pages lined up, but I’m going to save them for the next comic (Game Night). That means I’ve got only one panel left! Maybe I can get this wrapped up tomorrow! We shall see. 👍
