BLACK LABEL Chapter 1 PDF...

...At last it is here!  Been meaning to put this together for a long time, but it's a bit of a tedious process (my own fault for not planning ahead).

Thank you guys so much for helping me make this comic a reality.  It was a lot of time and effort and I can't wait to share more of the story!

...Whew, this took a while, what with all the shenanigans and goings on.  Thanks for your help getting this page put together.

It's weird, I'm so used to ending my pages with a cliffhanger/emotional hook.  This page is pretty mellow.  We'll see if we can't shake that up before the chapters end.

...detailed sketches done! My errands wound up taking about four hours of my day, but that’s life. Still, so excited to see the last two panels fall into place. Should be done tonight or early tomorrow. Gonna grab some grub and get back to it.

...and back to work on Black Label! Have a few errands to run later, but I’m taking to day off to finish this page. Really want to get to some of the fun scenes that are happening later (can’t wait for the next chapter), but there’s plenty of fun moments in store for the coming weeks. :)

I have two panels to finish (scrapped the original and started fresh). The rest of the page is done, so let’s see if we can’t get this one wrapped up today! 🎉

Weekly Update 05.13.2019...

Wow, what happened last week? Was hoping to knock out a few pages, but as it stands now, I couldn’t even get the line art done for a single page. It’s my own fault. This is what happens when I don’t draw for a few days; I lose my drawing skills and it takes a day to get them back.

Finally broke down and invested in a few fonts and Photoshop elements to rework my Black Label page header.  Wanted to draw it all from scratch myself, but I don't have a steady hand for those fancy whispy lines.  Very happy with this though.  Will likely go through a few touch ups, but all in all I think it's done!

Update...

...this week has been a whirlwind. Looked like it would be a chance to draw a lot but I got called out of town again. I get home this afternoon and I think I’m just going to work on sketchy Saturday and relax. Was hoping for at least one new page this week but I’m not seeing it happen.

Still, the next three pages are all designed. I’ll hopefully get most of page 18 done this weekend. Fingers crossed!

Weekly Update 05.06.2019...

...We did it! We accomplished all of our goals for last week; a new page of BLACK LABEL, a finished commission, sketchy Saturday (Sunday this time round), and as a bonus, a new color pic.

Sketchy Sat-...Sunday...

...Was hoping I'd have some more fun stuff for you guys, but it was a busy week with little time to sketch.  I am quite interested in drawing Spider-Gwen again.  I love her design in Spider-verse, though I haven't quite figured out her hair yet.

...we are moving forward!  Sure, it's late Sunday night, but we finished a new page before the start of a new week!  Lots to work on!  Update tomorrow.  Sleep well!

...in what I can only assume is record time for me. Funny enough the last panel (simplest of them all) took the longest.

Detailed sketch for page 17...

...is done (for the most part)! Added a panel at the end as a lead in to page 18 (since not much happens in this page overall). There’s some fun, and serious stuff coming up in a few pages. We’ll get there!

Lots of running around today...

...but I’ve finally sat down to start the line art for page 17 of chapter 2. Pretty simple page (5 panels) so we’ll see if I can’t get it knocked out before Monday (I will be out of town tomorrow and Saturday, so we’ll see).

Touhou Bondage Comic Commission...

...Is pretty much done!  Just need to check in with the commissioner to see if they're happy with the details and dialogue.

Eirin Yagokoro certainly is a creative thinker, I'll give her that.  Hope she has some safety measures in place.  Perhaps we'll learn about that in part two, which may very well be a thing that happens. :)

Weekly Update 04.29.2019...

...Okay, big week. So here’s the deal…

...Last week I had planned to finish the bondage comic commission, but my day job and the fact that I was working the image at over 600 pixels higher than I usually do (how the heck did I manage that?!) meant I wasn’t able to get it done. Knocked it back down to 300dpi so things are coming together quicker now. So that’s the plan for this week; finish the commission (and I need to wrap it soon because I need to get to the next page of Black...

Oops...

...I figured out why this commission is taking so long...I’ve been working at a much higher dpi than usual. I don’t know how I screwed that up. I don’t have to start over (thank god) but I’ll need to make some fixes to some of the lines. I probably won’t be finishing it this weekend like I hoped, but I’ll get it done this coming week.

Can’t believe I did that.🙄

What a week...

...got a lot busier than I expected but at least I’m getting stuff done. Pretty sure I can wrap up this commission before Monday. If I can do that, then I will have accomplished what I set out to do this week. Fingers crossed!
