As for the pic, last night we played Escape From Innsmouth. If you’re read the story then you know what are chances are of escaping unscathed.

Weekly Update 06.03.2019...

…This is how you know that this comic is getting serious…it’s getting harder to write. I swear, the thing used to write itself. I’d get these fun little plots and scenarios in my head and I’d just throw them on the page. Now I’m taking special care to keep the story intact, avoiding plot holes, making sure the characters stay in character, and now, resisting weird or rushed transitions (which after careful review I’ve discovered I’m prone to do). ^^;

...Meg looks very pleased with her pets performance.

Detailed sketch is pretty much done. Can start the lines when I get home tomorrow. Going to see if I can add something of a background design before turning in for the night.

Page 69...

...of BLACK LABEL was posted on HF today, but no actual 69 took place on the page. This cannot stand, so I have elected to do something about it.

I need to take off for work now but I’ll be back at it this weekend. Something to look forward to!

Breeze...

...spent most of my drawing time working on the script for BLACK LABEL.  Spent what was left experimenting with long hair.  I'm pleased with the results. :)

Experimenting...

...with long hair while I figure out the design of the last 3-4 pages of chapter 2. There’s a couple details holding me back, but I’ll get them figured. Hope to have a detailed sketch of page 21 done tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Ellie Pin Up...

...I really should draw more pin ups. :D

This was a lot of fun to draw!  Will likely end up on DevArt and HF as well Instagram or twitter down the road.  Was really struggling with breaking up the background some how.  Was going to make the black spot behind her red, or grey, or square or something.  I think this looks pretty nice.  Will have to attempt some proper backgrounds though (backgrounds are my weakness).

Weekly Update 05.27.2019...

Sorry for the late post, but it was a busy day. Hope you guys had a great Memorial Day Weekend!

We got two pages posted last week! Progress! Let’s see if we can do two more this week. That’s pretty much it. You all know your jobs. Good meeting everyone.

I didn’t get much time to sketch and play this past week, so that makes two Sketchy Saturdays in a row that I’ve missed. That’s no good.  I’ll be sure to at least throw some extra stuff up for my $5 Patrons this we...

Chapter 2, Page 20...

...Oh yes, we're going there! XD

This chapter is supposed to end in a few pages, but I was thinking it might be more fun to break the chapters up into weeks in the story.  Since I'm not bound by any page limits, why the heck not?  So, lots to look forward to!  Let's keep the party going!

New page is almost done...

...but I need to redo the last three panels. Going to reduce it to two panels. It was all too tightly packed on the page (quite a bit of dialogue too). Breaking it up shouldn’t affect the flow of the pages though.

This is the second weekend in a row that I haven’t had a sketchy Saturday for you guys. I’ll look through the archives to see if there’s anything worth saving. Main goal right now is to get more BLACK LABEL pages done.

I try really hard not to think to much about numbers. People are enjoying my work and helping me make time to do it and that’s all that matters, but wow, this is a big deal and really made my day!

Weekly Update 05.20.2019...

Hope you guys are ready for a productive week, because I sure am. I will be out of town for a couple days, but for the most part, I’ve got my week scheduled out with lots of drawing time!

My plan for the foreseeable future is to just keep pumping out pages until chapter 2 is done. There actually isn’t that much more to go, but I’m thinking of moving a scene from the next chapter to the current chapter so we can wrap up this story arc with what I think will be a stronger finish. So...

...I'm heading out the door for work (will be back tomorrow).  Sketchy Saturday will go up either Sunday or Monday.  Thanks for your patience. :)
