A busy week has begun and silly me for forgetting to post an update this morning. Truth is, I’m really close to finishing the next page of BLACK LABEL and I wanted to get all my business stuff out of the way so I could get back to it. Now that all the serious stuff is done, I can get back to the comic! Should be up later this afternoon/evening!

Wound up spending my time working on the tones. Glad I did because I don’t have to worry about it as much. Next page should be up Tuesday or Wednesday. I’m still debating about the design for the first panel, but I wanna put a lot of detail into it. I may end up doing it in pencil. We shall see.

Got a couple hours before I need to take off. Gonna get as much of the line art and base tones done as I can manage. Also have a couple rough Consentacle scribbles. Gonna play with those a bit too. Hopefully at least one will be worth sharing.

…Hey Gang! First thing’s first, the cold and flu has been banished from our home! The next two pages of BLACK LABEL are designed and I’ve already got some of the detailed sketches worked out. I’m going to work on the two pages at once to see if it saves me a bit of time. I think it will. We’ll see what happens.

…Ugh! This past week was the worst! My cold came back for a second round, my wife got sick, our roommate got sick. Miserable. Then it happened. I woke up early yesterday feeling 100% and got straight to work! Even got the page finished! My slept in until nearly one. She’s feeling much better today.
