Supreme Court Briefs: Buck v. Bell

This was the most disturbing and surprising Supreme Court cases I've ever researched. If you haven't heard of it, you will be shocked. Thanks to Matt Standish for suggesting it.

New Hampshire and Vermont Compared

It's been awhile since I did one of these. I know there are not a lot of people that actually live in these two states, but dang are they fascinating to me. So pour yourself some Green Mountain Coffee and eat a bowl of Ben and Jerry's while you watch this one. And live free or die and stuff.

Top 5 Vice Presidents in American History

This was a collaboration with Mr. Betts of MrBettsClass. He hasn't posted his video yet, but look for it there on Thursday night. Who is your favorite Vice President in American history?

So I feel better about the Doomsday Clock after the Trump-Kim summit currently in progress. What better time than to share with you my latest Supreme Court Briefs about gun rights? This was such a weird case. Hope you enjoy!

Worst 10 American Governors

Ray Blanton

Fob James

Richard Leche

David Butler

William Harding

Evan Mecham

Don Siegelman

John B. Weller

Lester Maddox

Rod Blagojevich

Supreme Court Briefs - Salinas v. Texas

Greetings! This episode will not debut until NEXT Friday, since I released two videos last week. It's an interesting case about the 5th Amendment being stripped away a bit. Thanks for suggesting it, Matthew!

Will your surname disappear?

What?!? Another video?!? Well, yes. But you won't hear from for a couple weeks. But yes, this one's a collaboration with Jabril from Jabrils. It will come out to everyone tomorrow morning. Hope your weekend rocks!

I'm sorry I didn't get this one out early to you. With the collaboration this week and next I've had to change up my schedule in order to work with them. Next week's video might even come some time over the weekend. As soon as it is done I will post it.

Supreme Court Briefs - Mapp v. Ohio

I'm sorry I didn't get this to you sooner. Originally, I was supposed to release a collaboration this Friday and that didn't pan out. Well, actually, last Friday it didn't pan out either, but I'd rather not get into that. Anyway, it's one of my favorite Supreme Court cases, and probably the most important 4th amendment case ever, so hopefully you will dig it. :D

Supreme Court Briefs - FCC v. ABC

Buck Russell is a game show history fan and actual game show host, and suggested this extremely obscure Supreme Court case. How obscure is it? Well, it's the most obscure case I've covered for this series thus far. If you already knew about it, I'd be shocked!

Thank you for your continued support.

Two very fascinating places not that far from each other. I really enjoyed making this one. Perhaps too much.

We've reached our $50 goal!

Butthead and I have some terrific news. We've reached our $50 goal per video! Thank you so much each and every one of you! Your continued support just means everything. Now that we're at the $50 mark, I will be upgrading my video camera. The current camera I have is four years old and has seen better days. I will keep you posted on what camera I get, and hopefully this means much more live action footage. Any camera suggestions are always welcome. Thanks again!

Why do people hate Jews?

Rarely have I been as nervous to release a video as I am with this one. It's something I've wanted to release for a long time, though. Let me know what you think! Also, check out Grant Hurst's channel if you have not done so already. He has a video he is releasing at the same time as this one about the history of the Jewish people.

Supreme Court Briefs- Worcester v. Georgia

Another very important case, yet Georgia and the Andrew Jackson simply ignored it.

Next week's video shall be epic. I can't wait to share it with you!

Supreme Court Briefs - The Betamax Case

This Supreme Court case was suggested by Matthew Abbitt. I knew nothing about it until I researched it. However, I knew quite a bit about the  Great VHS vs. Beta war! Wasn't as bloody as the HD-DVD vs. Bluray war, but still dramatic.

Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Supreme Court Briefs- D.C. v. Heller

I've been waiting to release this episode for awhile, and decided to do it now due to the recent Parkland shooting and change in the national dialogue. It's one of the most important cases in American history, and one of the few that actually even looks at the Second Amendment.

February has been a terrific month for the channel. I've been doing this for awhile, but the support this month has been overwhelming. Welcome to everyone new who supports me on here. It makes me unbelievably happy that...

Happy Presidents Day, for real. Here is where I get a bit controversial, probably, as I present to you arguably my most opinionated video yet. But it was sure fun.

Who is your least favorite President?

My Top 10 Presidents of All-Time

So the heck with Mardi Gras or Valentine's Day...Happy Presidents Day everyone! In celebration, here is my long-awaited top 10 GOAT Presidents video that people have been bugging me to make for a couple years. Much of it is off the top of my head and rambling, so this video has a much more loose feel to it. Next week I will be counting down my least favorite Presidents, so that one probably will be more fun (it's always fun to talk trash).

Yep, these are the two host cities of the two teams in the Super Bowl this Sunday. They both have a lot in common and were a lot of fun to compare.

And yes, I have a new YouTube channel. I don't expect much out of it. It's mostly a fun side project, but feel free to go check it out and let me know what you think.

YOU ARE AWESOME.

Supreme Court Briefs - Crawford v. Washington

It's episode #25! I imagine I have at least 250 of these planned eventually. Jake suggested this one awhile back, and I'm finally getting around to making it. If I get at least 120 likes on this one within 48 hours after I post I shall recite the Presidents in order by memory while doing pushups.

NATO Explained

Here's a classic explainer video, with another cameo from my brother Steven. There are a lot of misconceptions out there about NATO. Plus, my students need to know about it, so I figured, why not make a video about it? What do you think about NATO? Should it still exist?

Also, Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! Here is a song I made awhile back about him:

Supreme Court Briefs - New York Times Co. v. United States

First of all, I am sorry I couldn't this one to you earlier. I literally finished it at 11pm last night. I had planned on releasing my video about NATO today, but after getting excited about the new film The Post, I figured it'd be better to release this one first, despite the fact that I rushed a bit to get it done. But hey, I had a snow day yesterday so it all worked out. Has any of you seen the Post? If so, what did you think? I had planned on maybe seeing it this weekend.

Happy New Year! Back by popular demand, here is a video where I compare two places. A gave a shoutout to Unnamed Muffin in this one because he/she/they requested this one. I would like to compare two cities next. Which two should I compare? Look for this series every so often, but not as much (probably) as Supreme Court Briefs.

Loving v. Virginia (Sneak Peek)

This will be my last video of the year. I'm taking a couple weeks off to spend time with my family, reflect, work on a side project, and focus on my band's upcoming EP release. Oh yeah, and the holidays. Happy holidays!

2017 was a crazy year. I went to my first Vidcon. I finally started to release videos on a regular schedule. I started a brand new Supreme Court series. I have a feeling 2018 will be even better, though. Thank you to all of you for your continued support.
