Courtroom Bonus Variation: Grey

A request was made for a more 'government colored floor' for the Courtroom Map Pack (#67). That made sense to me, and I'd already used a grey carpet in the 'Supervillain variation.

So, here's a bonus variation for all you Patrons!

Thanks, as always.

Map #67: Courtroom

It's the Last Map of the year!

'Tis always the season for courtroom drama, whether that's a blistering closing argument or the trial of a dangerous super-criminal.

This month it's an interior scene. I had to do some research, because I, fortunately, am not very familiar with the subject matter.

My Patrons get up to 7 variations of this map. There's Vintage, which I generally aim at the 1920/30s for typically eldritch ...

Map Pack #67: Courtroom

Merry Merries Patrons,

'Tis always the season for courtroom drama, whether that's a blistering closing argument or the trial of a dangerous super-criminal.

This month it's an interior scene. I had to do some research, because I, fortunately, am not very familiar with the subject matter.

The variations should be familiar though, with one possible exception. There's Vintage, which I generally aim at the 1920/30s for typically eldritch settings, but I think t...

Map Pack #66: Train Crossing

All Aboard Generous Patrons!

A mostly exterior scene this month, and with interior variations.

I started with a Modern 'commuter' train at a crossing. I then did the same with a Vintage steam train that has a small baggage car at the back. Next, I went Apocalyptic,  derailing the modern train, griming it up and littering the ground inside and out. Finally, I went darker and a lot more neon for a View Post

Map #65: Mall Entrance

Let's buy stuff and not think about things for awhile!

This month we find ourselves in the bustling area outside the entrance to a mall. Not just any mall, but a fancy mall with all the top-end stores and a food court only partially overrun with bored teenagers.

Patrons get up to 7 variations (Each comes with night/day and grid/noGrid versions).

I started with a version without the cars (I've got a few token packs that i...

Map Pack #65: Mall Entrance

Hello Again, Creatives!

With your generous aid I put together an exterior scene this month. It's the bustling area outside the grand entrance to a mall. Not just any mall, but a fancy mall with all the top-end stores and a food court only partially overrun with bored teenagers.

For variations I started with a version without cars (don't forget that I've made a few token packs).

Next, I went with Abandoned (a single bus route stil...

Map #64: Boxing Club

Good Day Dice Rollers,

Go a few rounds with your players this month.

This map depicts a boxing club in a couple of repurposed, conjoined warehouses/industrial buildings.

I made a Vintage (1920/30s) variation and Abandoned versions of it and the original. Then I traveled into the future and brought back a Sci-fi variation complete with a holographic sparring partner. If you're in the mood to bet (or fix) a fi...

I wish I'd thought of that!

Map #63: Mountain Lair

Welcome Again Game Masters!

On a flight last month I watched the 1969 Bond Film, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and I was impressed by Blofeld's lair. I was thinking about it because a friend visited the actual location in Switzerland last year (it's a ski resort and restaurant that has lots of hikes and other thi...

Camp Trailers and RVs - Token Pack

Good Day Patrons,

Someone asked me if these campers and trailers from the RV Park Map Pack were available anywhere as tokens.

I thought, that's a good idea, so they are now, for you, generous Patrons.

I'm working hard on this month's map.

Camping or not, I hope you're getting some vacation time this summer.

Cheers.

Map #62: Junkyard

Let's Get Scrappy!

Looking for useful scrap; investigating a dumped corpse; questioning the suspicious old owner; hunting a fugitive. There's a lot of gaming work to be done at the weird junkyard on the edge of town.

The variations open up even more possibilities. Things tend to get wild at the Demolition Derby and your players can get right into the action with the eight Apocalyptic Car Tokens in the pack.

There's a Cybe...

Map Pack #62: Junkyard

Let's Get Scrappy!

Another big map in the vein of my Construction Yard or Oil Rig, this Junkyard is chock full of mystery (and trash).

The first variation I made was the Demolition Derby field because I thought it would be a fun place to play with the Apocalyptic Car Tokens. There's eight of them, and they

For the Cyberpunk map I tossed in some neon and glows, a couple of scrapped 'bots, and some high-tech bits.<...

Map Pack #61: Gun Shop

Time to Stand Your Ground, Patrons!

Another Patron suggestion turned into a map pack, this rather cluttered gun shop has a shooting range in the basement so you can "try before you buy".

In addition to a Vintage and Abandoned variation I went neon and haze for a Cyberpunk map.

Something is going very wrong in the Apocalyptic and Trouble variations, but someone is r...

Map Pack #60: Police Station

What's all this then, Patrons?

One of you made me aware that I had made a Fire Station, but not a Cop Shop. This month I have corrected that little oversight.

To me it feels like an old building, something that dates back to when the city was much smaller, but it could just as easily be in a town and this is the headquarters.

They've got facilities for taking mugshots, a couple of cells, a small armory and an interrogation room.

I made a roof for this one, which mean...

Bonus Restaurant Variation: SciFi (Interrogation)

A more sci-fi-style restaurant was requested by a generous Patron (they even offered to pay me for it).

As I have on a couple of other occasions, I took the idea, started playing around with the scene, decided it could work, and put this new variation together.

And you're all getting it as a freebie for being awesome!

I hope some of you find it useful.

Map #59: Restaurant (w/secret back room)

I finally got around to making a restaurant, and, if your players decide to visit, they may find that there's more on the menu here than excellent pasta.

Those who know use a back entry, pass through the kitchen, then go through the walk-in freezer to a hidden door. Back there they're cooking methamphetamine (as a blue crystal, naturally).

My generous Patrons can get up to 8 variations of this map.

In the base Vintage (1920s) ...
