Starting off with the base colour. You can see off to the side my many colour attempts, even resulting in a screwed up final attempt. Orange is a VERY difficult colour to work with, especially when scanned in XP

Filled in Wolf's other accessories/ white fur and began colouring in the background. I used only warm colours to compliment Wolf's cooler fur tones and clothing

Basic Pup Mask

Once I had the pattern, I made another basic pup mask with some small alterations for a friends commission. I also wanted to see if I could piece together a mask that only needed rivets and I’m pretty happy with the result :3

Meet Pup Scraps!

My personal pup hood is now finished and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! Really, I keep him on my desk and it keeps making me smile *wags.* He’s been a looooong time in the making and and really feels like he’s worth the wait and bonus that the making process was super fun too!

Was a long time in the making, but after rewatching the movie on its anniversary, gave me the motivation to finish this guy.

I've attached all the brown pieces together, but for the portions of fine stitching I wasn't able to do them myself because I currently lack the tools. So I took the mask to a local shoe repair shop and they attached the cheeks, muzzle and ears together :3

Off cutting the brown pieces for my hood. I have to be really careful cutting these pieces cause this is pretty much all of the brown leather I have and I reeeeally like the texture of this and would not like to have to settle for something lesser.

Acrylic on Canvas 12x16, long overdue commission piece. Was definitely an ambitious attempt, trying to paint flesh tones underneath, not one, but two sources of different coloured lighting.

Do you guys think I picked up enough leather? I could only buy in bulk so I think I'll have to make a few more masks in the future to sell and offset the cost of this one.

When I came across a scene that involved not only a hoofer, but a BRO hoofer, I died and leapt at the opportunity. He's definitely one of the most fun I've had drawing a character :3

As you can probably tell by now, one of my main goals for these illustrations is for the reader to easily differentiate similar species from each other.

Not at liberty to say much about this character, but it's fun to incorporate more rugged features to a fox design that are unlike Ty's. Some of the faces are a bit hanky cause I started drawing him really late at night x3 The bottom two are definitely much more refined.

Pup Mask WIP 6

Fixed the peaking of the forehead and the shape and sizing of the muzzle. I wanted to make sure a human jaw will compliment the muzzle and not distract that there's a human underneath as I find a lot of other masks fail to do.

Added more warm flesh tones, changed the muscle structure of the face and worked on cuffs, hands and of course that dick!
