This happened last night. Shooting for 'Night Owl'. The actress was over 45 minutes late for the shoot, but it was well worth it.
'Night Owl' will be one of the season 10 films. I believe that makes 4 never before seen movies coming up for that season.

These are the two leads of 'The Light from Other Days' (Years?) I picked them from their audition tapes, which you'll see in the behind the scenes for the film. I received over 50 submissions from actors for this film. Everyone liked the premise.

This one I'm currently casting. And this is one I really like. Some of my films have a warmer place in my esteem. I like the plot, and I think it'll be a strong story. More science fiction than traditional horror.

A prop for an upcoming short.
Props sometimes really give your project weight and substance, even if they're only on camera for a moment. I've done t-shirts, name tags, business cards - they all give it a verisimilitude, and make your audience more accepting of what the story is telling them.

This is what a working set looks like, not from the audience POV but what actors see in their face all day. This shot happened when I was doing a little on the set ADR (ADR is where you record replacement dialogue for dialogue that either wasn't recorded properly live, or was too difficult to use a mic in the shot).

I'll probably do an IMDB page for Obscura, when I get a moment. One of those perks the actors love, as it gives them more visibility in the industry. Often actors have confessed they've done my films primarily for a reel and an IMDB page.
For the actors, I cut a clip from my films - about 25 seconds worth - highlighting their performance. They use that clip to show what they can do when attempting to get a gig from other productions.

So I've got 'Obscura', the April movie-of-the-month loaded up and ready to play. I've also loaded the behind the scenes. 'Obscura' the film is available at the $10 level and the BTS is at the $25 level. One of my favorite actresses, Alex Swenson is in the lead role. This was shot as Covid safe as I could make it, with all actors shot on different days. But it came together well in one of my new favorite films.

BZR is scheduled to come out in May (possibly later) - and I'd suggest getting the bts. This particular shot didn't make it into the finished film. It happens occasionally. But that's one of the good things about the BTS - shots that didn't work, deleted scenes, and a better look at the people doing the films and their personalities.

With a voiceover recording today I'm finished with principal photography on Bzr, which will more than likely be May's movie of the month, Obscura being the movie of the month for April.

Received an audition tape from this actress the other day, and I believe I will be working with her on an upcoming film.
I'm forging ahead a film at a time toward season 10. I can't say when I'll reach that point, but you're assured of getting a film a month until I do.
