The War Within: Pre-Patch

Aloha,

I wanted to confirm for y'all that as of v11.0.0-1.0.0, Hekili supports all classes and specializations for The War Within -- all DPS, all tanks, all healers. Keep in mind that simulations (SimulationCraft/Raidbots) are constantly being revised, and there are always bugs to squish, so there will likely be a significant volume of updates each week leading up to the expansion release.

Hekili New Year!

Aloha all!  I hope y'all are enjoying WoW in patch 8.1.  My personal opinion is that the game is improving a fair amount but that 8.2 is going to be the real gamechanger when we get a new Azerite system that is hopefully more interesting and engaging.  As for 8.1, a lot of specs got some updates and having more Azerite Powers once the new gear is available is going to shake up the balance of things.

Thanks again for your continued support.  It has been a very busy time in terms of keeping the addon up to date, and your support and feedback is pretty much all that makes it possible.

Battle for Azeroth is here!

Hey patrons, thanks again for all your support.  Thanks to your contributions, we start BfA in a much better place than we started Legion.  You may recall that Legion began with a few WeakAuras written for a few different specializations, while folks waited for the addon itself to be ready.

BfA's pre-patch phase started with support for 17 specializations, with some tweaks and tuning still underway, but each are functional and improving with feedback.

Back in 5 (Days)

First, as usual, thank you all for your support.  I've been squeezing in more time for spec development to be ready for the 8.0 pre-patch.

Feral Druid, Windwalker Monk, and Unholy Death Knight were added in the last few alpha builds.  My plan is to continue work on existing specs and then build out the remaining unsupported DPS specs.

I went ahead and compiled the comments and likes on each spec in the poll, and the results have Demonology in the lead, with Assassination and Fury close behind.

So, after Enhancement, Retribution, and Beast Mastery are fully functional in the new specialization system (they almost are!), those will be the next specs to be built.

Goals for Battle for Azeroth

Hey everybody!  I just wanted to get a brief post out to y'all that has some updates with regard to what my priorities are in preparation for Battle for Azeroth.  I want to have all the major feature changes locked in by July 17, as I am anticipating that the BfA pre-patch will hit around that time.  I'm pretty confident that everything that needs to get done will get done, but I also want to make sure that several shiny few features are available by that time.

As promised, here is the official vote on which new specialization I will build this weekend.  The spec with the highest number of votes wins.  You can vote for multiple specs, so feel free.

I am currently working on some display optimization that should dramatically reduce CPU workload in raid settings.  I am hoping to get a release out this weekend which will include those fixes, but they still require some additional polish before I post them.
