Devious World in the new year

Alright, my goals for the new year and Devious World are as follows:

• As long as any real amount of donations are coming in, aim for at least twenty hours a week of writing.
• Get an incremental build out at least once a week.
• Try to get some art done for some of the starting characters to give people an idea of what they look like (before they start getting warped around of course).

So, we're back on a monthly schedule, and there should be an incremental build...

Status Update

Hey all. Sorry to worry you if I did, I'm alright (other than a mild sore throat I seem to have picked up). I've just been undergoing severe writer's block as far as Devious World is concerned.

It's been one of those periods where I open Twine and just stare at the boxes, having no idea what to do. When I do manage to make myself write, I feel like what I produce isn't up to the standards I should be putting out at this point. Part of it is probably that I've been working on some more...

Devious World Alpha 13

As I said earlier, this month has just been horrible for getting any writing done, and I'm deeply sorry about that. I had a lot of good momentum built up last month but it crashed and burned against a myriad of distractions and problems. I hope you'll forgive me and stick with me as I try to do better in August. Anyway, here we go!

Full Release: Alpha 12

Well here we are! The start of a new month and a fresh batch of deviancy for everyone.

As I'd mentioned in an earlier post, this update may have the most content in it since the very first public release (Alpha 2). This is in large part due to the support I received from the audience. Full Release: Alpha 11

Alpha 11 is live!

• Jamie follows along more on Kevin's get-rich-quick scheme.
• Changed one of the options in the Ranma sim where Ranma winds up in the woods, and worked on that.
• Various small tweaks and shifts to text for better formatting.
• Cyan and her friend Leslie can now go look at the pond or the kitchen in the haunted house.
• Eric (now Erin) has adventures to continue in the Trek storyline.

Alpha 10 Release

Alpha 10 is live! Kinda skimpy, I feel, though some of the new paths have a fair bit of content included... not nearly as much as I’d like, but more than nothing at least.
