Status Update
Added 2016-08-31 14:15:10 +0000 UTCHey all. Sorry to worry you if I did, I'm alright (other than a mild sore throat I seem to have picked up). I've just been undergoing severe writer's block as far as Devious World is concerned.
It's been one of those periods where I open Twine and just stare at the boxes, having no idea what to do. When I do manage to make myself write, I feel like what I produce isn't up to the standards I should be putting out at this point. Part of it is probably that I've been working on some more serious dramatic writing on the side and that's been dominating my headspace. It's a little difficult to shift gears from people baring their souls and trying to stop the end of the world back to fun and carefree debauchery.
So I'm going to go ahead and suspend donations for the time being on Patreon. Hopefully when I finish the other writing project, I'll be able to return to the proper mindframe of writing Devious World. And hopefully once the other writing project is completed you'll enjoy that too. But it's not what you signed up to donate for and I'm not going to make assumptions, and I refuse to be one of those people who just lingers on and keeps taking Patreon donations when they're not doing what they declared themselves to do. That's not me and you as my audience deserve better. If, once I'm finished and there's enough enjoyment of my other writing projects, I may indulge in further side projects and other writing ventures as a declared part. Until then, there will be a short hiatus until I can get this other writing out of my system.
