I've started work on the bad-in-bed update – the trait is called “inept lover”. I've started with the boring-but-necessary part of working through existing scenes and updating the text and arousal effects of various actions. That'll take me a while longer and probably end up representing a significant part of the new content.

I'm working on the boyfriend-cheating content for Newlife. I've decided to focus on a few key scenes rather than lots of little changes. Specifically, one where you walk in on him cheating and have the option to watch.

I'd considered an alternative path where the PC joins in, but it doesn't seem feasible to add such a large scene in this release. Perhaps for a later one if there's sufficient interest.

Relationship Traits vote result

Hi all, I've totalled the results of the recent relationship traits vote, including adding the extras for people at the triple-voter level.

The results are:

Small Penis: +12

Bad in Bed: +11

Heavy Drinker: +8

I've received some more images. What do you think? The first shows the toned body again, this time with much softer lines for the abdomen.

The next step in the relationship updates is to add some more NPC traits focused on relationships - primarily "bad boyfriend" traits. The plan there is to spend 3 releases on these, probably with 1 release per trait. This is a vote to decide which traits to look at.

Toned body - which is better?

Hi all,

These are some examples for the Toned body-type from an artist I'm currently in discussions with about possible paper-doll characters for Newlife.

I haven't seriously prototyped this so I don't know if I'll end up putting it into the game itself but I've decided to commission a base set of images to try it out with.

Anyway, these are 4 examples of the toned body-type - the main variation is around the stomach. What do you think? Which is best?

Hi all, I've decided to put a few extra scenes in the dev version I'll be giving you tomorrow - it's a pain to disable mostly-completed scenes so I'm just going to finish them off.

You can expect it tomorrow with 2 dream scenes (the actual release will have 4, or more if I have some new ideas) and a scene I'm writing for when your character falls in love with a man with a few choices to give the player some more control.

So, my injury appears to have flared up a bit again - at first I hoped it was just an ordinary muscle thing but it's been over a week now, so I think it must be the spine again.
