Hi, I hope you're doing well. I've been struggling with a migrane today so I'm not feeling very productive, but aside from that progress has been going fairly well in the last week or so.

The next release is going to center on an event chain where an impregnator asks the PC to help him get another woman pregnant. Obviously that's similar to the Tanya chain, but this one will play out quite differently.

Hi all, here's version 0.5.3. This one implements the gameplay changes around giving female NPCs their own fertility cycles and the ability to get pregnant and give birth, along with key updates to existing scenes. 

I'll be building on this over the next few releases with scenes that focus on NPC pregnancy, both for general female NPCs and for some special ones who I feel deserve special treatment.

Hi all, this release contains a scene I commissioned from the writer Elizabeth King that I've had sitting around waiting for final polish & integration for a little while now.

Newlife 0.5.0 is here - the last release in the relationships update. I'll be running a vote soon to decide what to do for the next one.

Please let me know if there's any bugs - I had to make changes throughout the code to support the new options to inform your partner of pregnancy and lie to him about being the father, so I'm a bit worried about any unforseen consequences!

Slight delay

Hi all,

I'm going to take a slight delay in releasing the next version of Newlife - probably just by a day or so.

It might in theory be possible to put together a release tonight, but I don't think it would be a very satisfying one - there wouldn't be time for more than the most cursory testing and some of the more fiddly aspects of certain scenes wouldn't have been handled very effectively.

Such a release would definitely require a bugfix update soon after and it'd probably...

I've been struggling with illness for most of the month and haven't made very much progress. At this point, I don't consider it realistic to get an acceptably-sized update out this month.

As such, I've paused the patreon campaign which means that you will not be charged on June 1st.

I expect development to be back to normal next month.

I'm still feeling pretty bad - I've basically no energy at all and I haven't been able to do much productive work at all since my last post.

We'll see how things develop. If I don't recover soon then I may not be able to do a worthwhile release in May - if that happens then I'll pause the Patreon campaign so people won't be charged for the month.

Cooking class typo fix

Hi all, there was a typo in the cooking class file .vm file that could cause an error during the scene.

To fix this, download the attached file and move it to newlife/additional_scenes/official_content, overwriting the existing file of the same name.

Sorry for any annoyance this error has caused.

I'd been planning a big replacement of the town date scene but it isn't quite ready yet (maybe 80% or so). Instead I'm putting out a smaller release here with new cooking content and you'll get the date rework in maybe a week or so. 

This release contains the first commissioned scene - a cooking class. There's also a second that'll be ready soon so you can probably expect two releases by mid-February.
