Another One!?

So it was pointed out to me a fifth model that is pretty good.  I can't really add it to the old poll so I am doing an addon poll instead.  Do you think I should use this model instead?

Also, keep in mind the tattoos and stuff on this model are optional and I will turn them off for the video to keep it more in line with classic Lara if this model gets more interest.

The Crofts

While I work to finish up the Poppy video, I decided to at least plan out the other winner.  Issue is, I have a few options to work with, and am unsure which to use.  Which Lara would you prefer seeing?

Work Work

It's going to take more time to finish the video as I decided I wanted to try and make it more varied with a few poses, but here is a draft teaser so you guys know I am working hard.  Likely be another week.  After that, the Lara one I think will be a little faster.

The "look" isn't finalized either, my render settings are being played with, so any suggestions are welcome if you have them.

The story that goes with it I think will be something we can all relate with.

The Tie

As everyone saw, there was a tie on the video poll.  I thought about flipping a coin, but instead I am just going to do both, one after the other.  The first one will, hopefully, be done this week.

Semi-Longer Project

I want to try a small, more varied video.  

Not at the level of some past videos but just a simple one with a few varied angles, animations, and frames.  I narrowed it down to four scene ideas, and I am going to let you guys choose which one I do. 

Due to the length I may not be able to post another animation this week, but we will see. 

Also, if this goes well I may do more of these ideas below in the future, so don't get sad if your idea loses the vote....

Unreal Experiment 2

So to continue my experiments into unreal as a renderer, I plan to use some models that are not on the free marketplace in a FULL scene.  

The best ones I have that can work in scenes are from RyanReos, so it's likely I will use them next.  I want to know though, which girl would you guys like to see? You can see all his girls over here on Cubebrush.

Aurora Unreal Pack

As part of the experiment I have turned the warm version of this scene into an unreal pack.  You can load it up and orbit around the action a bit.  It's sadly a bit large, but I have been unable to bring it down further at the moment. Still learning.

Short or Long?

Been having an interesting discussion with some of you on my discord, and I wanted to get a larger grasp on what you all want me to move towards this year.  

I have been wanting to dabble more into long form videos and stories.  

The issue is those take time, so I wouldn't be able to keep up a weekly post schedule.   While I have been trying to expand my loops with sound and other effects, they still just loops,  just trying to hit one a week.

The night was vacant and ominous, the abandoned docks outside Gotham City left silent and forlorn for more then a decade.  Among the shadows, a broken down warehouse stood ominously through the fog, it's walls painted to capacity with graffiti and clown iconography.  A seeming beacon of madness surrounded by decay.

Taking the female model for a test drive, still needs a lot of work but it was nice getting some FF14 content working for once.  The goal is once I finish to have every race but Lala on the same rig and ready to go.

Sorry the animation is a bit basic, but I decided to push through more with Blender, and I gave myself the pass to simplify animations until I get better at the animation systems Blender provides. 

I still plan to use C4D, and will also be dabbling in Octane more, but Blender is like a new girlfriend that is super high maintenance, yet the sex is great, so you want to go back and learn some new tricks.

Had some render setting issues I didn't notice.  Actually had them for awhile on a few projects and just let them slip past my stupid brain.  I am redoing the settings, but it means I have to redo those Tifa renders.

Sorry for the delay on this, I actually tried working on multiple animations and they didn't really work out due to bugs, so I had to scramble to figure out a scene in my usual style.  I am rendering out some alternates too though not all those will be touched up.

Ahsoka v1.5

Felt like she needed a bit more clean up.  I also fixed some model issues that were still glaring at me like some issues with the genital mesh and connections with her neck.

Model Poll

Want to get more interaction going into this year, so let's try a new process on picking the models.  I am going to give three female models that interest me at the moment, and let you guys vote on the one I will finish and animate.   The models won't be the same week to week as my interest can fluctuate, but I will try to get to all of them sooner or later.

The Darksiders Comic

Just a little heads up, but I do plan to finish that Darksiders comic, though it will be going through a slight change in creation method.

I decided, instead of fighting week to week which was how I did it before, I am instead working slowly on it till the point I finish.  Once I finish it, I will load it up on a weekly update schedule and then hopefully design a new comic that I will work on during that time to finish around the time the Darksiders one "ends".  Repeat.

Much like past ones this includes the original, untouched, a few extra semi-angles, and I also included a darker version which I felt looked pretty good too.  Enjoy.

Ahsoka's Exile

Preparing Ahsoka (Patron Only)

For reference this version of her is based on Rebels, but due to there being no variation of her model from Rebels, I had to improvise using a slightly more "realistic" version of her from another game.  I customized it from there to get a mix of both looks.

The Markings

After posting my Ahsoka, it was pointed out to me her body would have some markings due to her race, so I added a few.  Later on another friend told me she probably shouldn't have markings as she never shows any in the show.  A very gentle nerd fight later between friends, and I decided it probably just be best to ask you guys.  Should I keep the markings, go without the markings, or use a middle ground version?  Vote away!

Forcing Along

Earlier I decided to do some organization of my model banks.  I made sure I had a large catalog of SFW and NSFW models that I could utilize.  Even if I have to do my own head swaps, it would be worth it to have options.  Also collected some headless body options and such from around the net.

My idea for the first head swap test happened after watching a trailer today.

Phew

Sorry about any delays.  Blender has been hard fought and Octane is great but is really lacking in converts right now.  I was going to just post anything I tested out but I feel kind of weird doing that, not sure why though, since I never really was shy about posting works that were not 100% happy with.  Guess the extra "quality" makes me feel like those are harder to hand wave away.  What you guys think?
