These are prototypes and works I created as a hobby.
When comparing them, I can really see the difference in quality depending on when the models were made.
At the time I first created them, I thought, ‘There’s no way I can make anything cuter than this.’
But looking at it now, the newer illustrations are definitely higher in quality.

That said, working in a manga style really is more difficult compared to anime style—
especially when it comes to dynamic movements or complex expressions.
If I’m not careful, the key features can get lost and the character ends up unrecognizable.

The pace is a little slower this time. When it’s a character I really like, I tend to make more pieces than planned—that’s a bit of a bad habit of mine. Maybe I should try to keep each set around 100 illustrations regardless of the character.
