Trials of Mana Trio

Knife Harness

Does a knife harness make sense? Is it even practical or just for the look?  Would wearing nothing BUT a knife harness even work for undercover lethal work?? I mostly did it for the aesthetics so there you have it. Let's get to work!

Few Capcom boys

Bust shots of Hayato from Plasma Sword and Daigo from Rival Schools. When I did these I was in a drawing rut but felt really antsy and passionate for fighting games especially whilst waiting for Street Fighter 6 hahah… I still have very strong allegiance with Capcom and always love their designs especially older games. I love versus games! Am I good at them, different story. I can always dream n draw.

Vines in the Breeze

I'm sort of imagining Alfred to be a very dainty and pretty prince on the outside but being sort of a lecherous playful boy in private -- whatever that means! There's something about the elegant cute ones that seem so fun to make contrasts with. My favourite stuff really!

Into the fun stuff: who is he talking to? Who is the lucky one he wants to play with in his private royal quarters? 

Inazuma Eleven - Kazemaru Ichirouta

I didn't watch much of Inazuma 11 maybe the first 2 seasons or so. But I've always loved the show's quirky and colourful character designs (also the many long haired boys). I also used to watch it dubbed and because of that I never remember his Japanese name. So I had to google his dub name "Nathan Swift" every time I had to tag him haha... 

Guilty Gear XX - Zappa

Zappa used to be my videogame character fixation for a few years back when I was in post-secondary school. He was everything and I loved how weird and pitiful he was. Part of me miss how impertinent and obsessive young me was, and part of me just miss having a character fixation that makes inspired me dish out lots of art! Stretchy Stretchy

Happy mid-August! Sorry for the lack of posting in the last few weeks I had several life events to take care of on top of finding time to post things. For one I’ve been meticulously taking care of my health in small steps and it’s doing some good to me. Meanwhile I’m making my OC do some more stretches until I find some other poses to put him in.

Nu Carnival - Yakumo + process

Yakumo is also sort of a no brainer for me, snake boy with accents of red and gold. How can one resist him?

This one is the only print I drew where the character is not wearing a “seasonal” outfit. I wanted to highlight the red and gold as much as possible on his dark regular outfit while making the whole image very flowery and romantic.

It’s a change of pace from making sexy boy prints but his one didn’t do too bad. I suppose sometimes showing less skin also works!

Futari Ecchi - Yura *NSFW

Last summer I had a tattoo project for a leg where my client wanted main character Yura from Futari Ecchi enjoying solo pleasure. I really liked designing and working on this one! I enjoyed drawing Yura but sketching out multiple panels to chose from was really fun! (not all shown here)

Spring Festival Garu + process

Garu in Lunar New Year festival attire! 2 of 6 of my Nu Carnival prints series.  

Compared to Kuya seen here this one was a little more straightforward to colour and render. When I get comfortable drawing I know I have to push myself to take it up another level. That way I don't laze around on my image and get nicer results than I intended.

Intrusive *R-18

More chest, more boob window, more dirtying, more everything!

Had a resolution at the beginning of the year to draw more indulgent things namely original characters. Need to put them in situations, make them pretty, or both... Well there you have Bashe having a very intrusive friend enjoying themselves. At first I couldn't decide whether to have him naked or with skin tight shiny clothing so I did both because that's just how I roll (you know how I roll!)

Hajime no Ippo - Kimura & Sendo

Been feeling nostalgic about boxing boys and would just LOVE to take the time available to draw any or all of them. Already happy I was able to draw and colour these in retrospect haha! Now these images make me wonder what a Hajime no Ippo dating sim would look like hmmmm

Blossom in the Breeze

Alfred is the first one that peeked my curiosity in Fire Emblem Engage because he's a pretty flowery boy ON A HORSE. And if you already know me my favourite fire emblem unit is the cavalier. Sorta basic I know but I like well-rounded reliable units with mobility. 

I used to think his design was a little cluttered and still do(he and and his sister Céline for that matter) but I really love his casual outfit back at the Somniel. Kinda reminds me of what a boy band idol would wear ha...

Tachibana Senzou

I’m weak for really obviously pretty-type boys. I think I’ve loved this archetype for a long time now and most my peers and followers know too hahaha

Any reason to be able to draw long glossy hair is a pleasure I say!

Sofia from Battle Arena Toshinden

She and Ellis are definitely the faces of this nostalgic fighting game series. To think that even I didn’t fancy other male characters I guess character design will do that to me. I was happy to be able to draw and colour this picture in one setting. These instances are becoming rarer so it was a real treat. Now I only sorta want to boot my PSOne and play a few rounds hahaha!

Kairi in a bind *R-18

Kairi from Street Fighter EX finds himself in a ropey situation even a strong fighter couldn’t get out of. Which is why I find fighting games characters are always prime subjects for rope bondage. The contrast of their physical strength and the vulnerability of seeing them bound is just exquisite hohoho

Bunny outfit Alcryst *NSFW

Can you just imagine Alcryst apologizing repeatedly because he’s embarrassed by his predicament?

From time to time there’s this need to draw some boys in bunny girl outfits. Gotta love rendering shiny material and high heels! Sorta unfortunately I haven’t played Fire Emblem in a while because of lack of time but I would love to draw some more of them. Who are some boys or girls you’d like to see in bunny outfits?

Undertale boys and girls

I played Undertale past Xmas and went in with low expectations. Turned out I quite enjoyed the game with its quirky characters with their respective soundtrack. I truly did not expect to like the bone brothers especially not Papyrus hahaha! I’d go on a date with him.

The Muffy pic was the first image I drew. It came to me very clearly and was with ease that I sketched her down. I was in a mood to draw a lot thin crawly limbs.

Fashion Ladies

With time my taste in anime, video games, and hobbies, keep changing organically. What has always remained though is how I like how artificially aesthetic fashion/modelling photos look like. These ladies here were specifically inspired by clothing brand Guess. That was when I was taking a walk at the mall and sat down to draw. Couldn’t help but sketch out the ladies from the ads.

Reprise of this older post here and colourized it. I think it adds just a bit more personality and makes the context a bit steamier. These boys are always fun to play with!

Sporty looks

I love fitness, martial arts, and sports because it’s nice inspiration for gym wear and nice bodies. Yoga is sorta my go-to workout too because of its convenience. Are there any yoga poses you’d like to see my OC in?

(shadow) Boxing is something I’d like to get back into since it’s really effective and complete training in my opinion maybe after swimming.

That being said I can’t wait for Kengan Ashura’s next season!

I haven’t yet played the latest game. But I do OWN it… A friend suggested I draw him anyway so here he is. I always sort of panic when drawing Nintendo characters specifically because they feel like BIG NAME game heroes I can’t touch. That’s going to have to change!

This picture made me wonder how some artist paint artwork with this lineless style. It’s so complex! But surely practice would make it easier.

Spring Festival Kuya + process!

From a series of Nu Carnival prints I did for Otakuthon 2022. I never got around to posting them here so here is Kuya which ended up being my favourite to work on. The Chinese outfit for the lunar new year really inspired me.

This illustration came to me very naturally from concept to rough sketching to finish. I think polishing it was a bit of challenge because of the umbrella anatomy and how I mixed up layers colouring the details of his coat as you can see in the process. In my work...

Chinese Wuxia OCs
