Guilty Gear XX - Zappa
Added 2023-08-21 18:00:04 +0000 UTCZappa used to be my videogame character fixation for a few years back when I was in post-secondary school. He was everything and I loved how weird and pitiful he was. Part of me miss how impertinent and obsessive young me was, and part of me just miss having a character fixation that makes inspired me dish out lots of art! Although when I look back I admit Guilty Gear in general gave me few good characters to draw (lots of Bridget and Zato-1 had their fair share). Do you have favourite Guilty Gear characters? How about just any big character fixation?

I used to think that Robo-Ky was just a coolsauce robot when in fact he's a comic relief jokey anime robot. When I first played him I saw how wacky he was and just loved him! There is just so much to love out of GGXX....

2023-08-23 01:34:23 +0000 UTCI'm glad I'm consistent! Also Venom, he did things to my heart too. Also you say something of valid point here that SFIII and GGXX both have very iconic and strong, appealing designs. Not to mention 2D animation gems!

2023-08-23 01:32:15 +0000 UTCUnsurprised that Zappa was a favorite of yours, he seems like he would for the reasons you named, on top of being quite bendy. On a purely superficial level, I'm fond of Anji, Venom, Chipp, and Axl. GGXX kind of occupies a similar mold as SFIII as having the most appealing fighting game designs for me.
