Work Strike v0.7.2 Liz Reanimations

A smol lil patch of Work Strike. Fixed Monkey face being able to do unblockables. As well as reanimated some of Liz's more janky looking attacks. Since she was the first I made, some of my inexperience was showing.

Her 'Risk Assessment' now starts with a hit. This should hopefully bring her combo potential in line with the other characters.

DPs are also now tied to forwards specials, cuz otherwise they were evil.

Hey fellas, here is the new version of Work Strike with Monkey Face in it.

I tried to design her to be interesting, yet not have any overly complicated mechanics. Want you to be able to be unga and bunga with her.

I also have not play tested her yet, so she may be quite broken. So expect an updated version at some point. Just wanted to drop her in your hands to show that I'm chugging along.

Fuck it we Ball

Yet another video, but a very important one.

I have done some thinking after my passion for creativity was relit from the RPG Maker video idea. I realized that such an important video to me doesn't feel right being on the Legally Not Rad Chad channel. I've realized how much the Rad Chad channel means to me, and I'm going to start putting my main videos on there again. Now with disclaimers briefly explaining my situation at the start of each one.

I am genuinely very excited

I have been a bit in a slump about what to work on next. However, I have started writing something I'm unbelievably excited about.

If you have been joining me for my streams, you may have learnt about my love for RPG Maker games with our stream of Look Outside. It dinged in my mind to make a video about the genre's recent rebirth. It is not always often that I have a script so easy to write but my passion is writing it all on its own. And learning about this genre I love is so exciting....

My friend is editing down my stream of ENA Dream BBQ. Here is the first draft of the thumbnail for it. It will make slightly more sense the references once the video is done.

Character planning

Back into Work Strike work again, thanks to inspiration from denizens of the Discord server, and with Ace's concept artist helping me again.

In the first image is a concept special move for the HR Manager 'Mr. Friend', who's DNA has been combined with a golden retriever to make him extra friendly.
In the second image is how the PR Manager, 'Rush', would maneuver. They are wheelchair bound and their playstyle is built around acceleration and momentum.

An Argument Against Motion Inputs

Here is a thumbnail for a most likely controversial video I am working on.

I saw a week ago some discourse about motion inputs in fighting games, strongly apposing their removal. Since Work Strike has directional inputs and avoided motion inputs entirely, I thought it'd be interesting to give my reasoning behind that decision. I don't believe they should be removed from all fighting games, but I do believe they are a nasty hump for new players that makes the genre unappealing to get in...

This is a rambling video I made complaining about female designs in World of Wacraft. I believe they lack sauce and variety, especially compared to their male counterparts. Also they were cowards for not adding the Alpha trolls.

Heading back to my hometown for my birthday.

The Best Archetype in Hero Shooters

Am back in my abode from Christmas. Still working out the best way to proceed with YouTube stuff. But at the same time, i'm making a secret sneaky video about deception based characters in hero shooters to get back in the rhythm of things.

I've posted about this on Twitter, but it seems like remonetisation is not happening. Thanks to StanleyMOV, he's been able to get in contact with a few people at YouTube. And it really seems like they do not care at all. There was a YouTube contact who was more sympathetic, but they weren't in any position of power to make the necessary changes. Despite them sending out strong emails in my defense, YouTube won't budge at all.

So YouTube has utterly abandoned me.

Hey guys, just a smol update of what i've been doing.

Mostly busy with family and events, since tis the season. That, and drawing smol characters.

Have also been nibbling away at the character Monkey Face in Work Strike. Wracking my head about special moves, so if you have any dumb suggestion, feel free to drop em.

On monetization front, its been a lot of waiting with my existing leads. A lot of hopeful developments, but nothing concrete, and everything is taking forever. Wh...
