Believe it or not, but this is one of those songs that was written very quickly! Since it's about Hades 2, where the main antagonist is Chronos, the titan of time, I wanted to play around with different time signatures and a variable bpm. Shifting time signatures is something I have rarely done, can you spot all four different ones? ;)

How to make it special...

This Nautilus song I'm producing has started to become one of my favorites. And I'm doing so many special little production tricks for it.
I had a recording session with my friend Martin Gavelin(who's a percussionist for Ye Banished Privateers) and we recorded an anchor/chain, creaking doors, screeching cymbals...

We threw heavy things at this metal plate, we used the chain and miscellaneous junk to make a snare, we even sampled an old pump organ's bellows to capture an incredible b...

Dear Patrons,

I took two weeks off to do some house work. I built a patio and spent some time with the family.

Meanwhile, the Moonshine song released, and it was a huge failure, performance wise. I've never seen such bad numbers on Spotify. Might be because it got the "LIVE" tag for some reason. Apparently because me and my friends recorded ourselves clapping and fooling around.

I could really use a win on the Falconshield front right now.

Few and Far Between feat. Lyv (Path of Exile 2 song)

This song was inspired by Path of Exile 2. Much like the world of Diablo, Wraeclast is a very dark and hostile world. In such a world, safe havens are indeed few and far between, and that's the premise for the song. You're in one of those places, listening to a lone bard's lamentations. And then it grows into something bigger, only to end up back at the tavern.

Warhammer 40k song incoming~

Not gonna lie, I've had somewhat of a rough time lately.

Pretty sure at this point, I'm not going to get my old job back, Falconshield metrics have been pretty mediocre. But I still have you, and a reasonable following on Spotify/YT, so I'll drudge on.

Looking for opportunities, commissions and short term contracts in game/media, but going back to freelance is somewhat discouraging. I'm not the best at marketing myself, I kind of hate it tbh...

Part of getting that rowdy and messy atmosphere in "Down To The Delves" was to introduce some controlled chaos.

I usually spend my Friday nights at the Gräsrot(Grassroots) studio in town, with other middle aged men who like to record and produce music :D So this Friday I asked them to help me record some atmospheric ruckus. Here's a behind the scenes video of that occassion. This song has just been an absolute blast to make, from start to finish!

Yes, this is actually the very first World of Warcraft inspired song I've ever made!

Well...I suppose that's not entirely true. Going back to "Gam3r M3tal", there was We Raid... BUT, this one is more explicitly dedicated to a WoW character, namely Alleria Windrunner. The setting is the latest The War Within expansion, and it's voiced by the tremendous Sharm. Enjoy!
