Attacks or Opportunities

Attacks come in all different forms. Sometimes it is our own minds playing games with us. Sometimes it is from the outside. As Pastor Jim said, seeing them as opportunities instead of attacks is key.

Today is my Booty Ballet day. I teach and then come home and clean and work on budget. One thing I’ve noticed is how much ballet lifts my spirits and it lasts longer than the 2 hour class.

Hope in the Dark

Our pastor did a series on Hope in the Dark. It occurred to me that it is so relatable to so many which is why it hit so many people. It can be in different ways, but there doesn’t seem to be a shortage on darkness in the world.

As I read through the chapters of Song of Songs, I continue to be amazed at how Jesus loves us. Why would I be amazed if He decided to leave heaven, get beaten up and die for me? That seems like extreme love. But, somehow we downplay it because we don’t “feel” lovable. I’m sorry, but that is pride.
