Good morning!

A couple of friends and I are working our way through Atomic Habits (again for me!)

Sometimes we just need to get some habits moving in a good direction and it seems so easy for those habits that aren’t so productive to just creep in.

I’ve heard this said before about Focus: diffused light doesn’t have a great effect on what it touches. But focused light, like letting the sun go through a magnifying glass, can start a fire.

A lot of things I’ve said many times in many ways over the years of writing. It is crazy to me that I still can once in a while get caught in the trap of thinking in old ways. Sometimes I question if I’m praying “right” and get discouraged because there are so many messages on prayer…..recommendations, do this or do that, or worse don’t do this and don’t do that.

Lord help me

Good morning!

A friend and I were talking about The Chosen and some of the people and the choices they made and how easy it is to see them in the “wrong” when we stand on the outside looking at them.

But it occurred to me how I have been Nicodemus - the Pharisee who saw Jesus as God but chose to follow the old, safe religious system. Oh the pain he experienced inside for trying to preserve outward appearances!

I was studying on “testing” and of course the best example of passing all the tests of life is Jesus.
