Some refactoring was done to Texture++ codebase to make it more robust, includeing cleanup that removes a few textures no longer present in the 6.0 client. The Patreon installers has been updated to reflect the latest storage size.
The installer does not currently auto-update itself. It is recommended to download the latest release from the rewards page when you need to update. You do not need to keep the installer executable (the exe file) after use, as your settings are ...
I just finished Act I: A Dance of Snowy Tides and Hoarfrost Groves. Texture++ seems to work well in Nod-Krai for the most part, though a minor texture corruption issue was discovered during my play-through and has already been fixed.
(Left: before fix, Right: after fix)
The problem, which affected Vilemina's horn, was resolved yesterday. If you downloaded the mod via the installer si...
This method avoids extra 3rd-party launcher, works with HDR and FPS unlockers, and bypasses the annoying Windows UAC prompt "Do you want to ... device?" every time you want to start the game. It works with GIMI and my 3DMigoto with DirectStorage.
It uses PowerShell, which is included with Windows 10/11. PowerShell is a built-in command-line and scripting environment that allows automation of system tasks.
The update includes the newly added characters Lauma, Flins, and Aino, as well as the new region Nod-Krai. Note the storage requirements have increased.
Finale (GDDS) 22G->24G (or 58G->62G decompressed)
Finale 4K (GDDS) 68G->72G (or 148G->160G decompressed)
It’s now available through the installer and OneDrive.
For those who need the DDS version of Texture++, here's a way to convert the GDDS version into the DDS version.
Usage Instructions
Extract Decompressor.zip to desired location
Run Decompress.ps1 in PowerShell from the folder. If you’re not familiar with using PowerShell, I suggest asking ChatGPT for guidance and sharing the script content for step-by-step instructions.
Enter the path to your Texture++ (GDDS version) folder when prompted.

From the official Github page, "GIMI is a version of 3DMigoto that I have modified to be compatible with Genshin." According to its creator on Discord:
As my previous poll on "Quality vs. Size" suggested, implementation of DirectStorage with GPU decompression for Texture++ was being worked on and it's nearly complete. I’ve made a video (roughly one and a half minutes) to explain how it works at a high level. Hope you enjoy it!
I’ve quickly put together a simple interactive map showing unique Texture++ Installer usage over the past three weeks (based on IP, so not perfectly accurate): https://installer-map.pages.dev/. It’s astonishing to see people from all over the world using it ! But since I can’t test connection quality for every location, your feedback is incredibly valuable.
Here’s why I currently use OneDrive for downloads:...
With DirectStorage, it's now possible to use GPU decompression to either boost texture quality even further or greatly reduce the storage size. Check out the two textures of Ineffa attached—they each use a different approach. Can you tell which texture has better quality? Would you prefer higher quality, or would you rather save on storage space? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

As the name suggests, this pack upgrades everything to 4K. It is compressed with GDeflate and requires about ~76GB of disk space. 3DMigoto with DirectStorage is required, which can be found 2025-07-28 03:10:02 +0000 UTCView Post

Welcome!
Here is a custom build of 3dmigoto that uses DirectStorage to improve load time and minimize CPU overhead. For best performance, please make sure you're using Windows 11, an NVMe SSD, and a relatively powerful GPU (like an NVIDIA 30-series or newer). Windows 10 and SATA SSD are the minimum requirements.
