Finally done whew!
Learned my lesson not to do a high FPS + high resolution project with rain and ripple effects, what took the longest was just loading previews of the shots :,) Super fun to do and great after effects practise!
Tutorials I used!:
- Rain + blurring certain areas of the shot
The ClipStudioPaint tutorial requires far more time than I could put in this month so it'll hopefully be up in February, so sorry!
Instead I did this shorter and much faster walkthrough on how I get my voiceclaims as well as add it into my toyhou.se codes, hope it's of use!
Feel free to drop your editing program recommendations if you know any apps or other free ones for ppl to use!

All frames are completed and so hopefully it'll be posted to birbs/avians in a day or 2 if I can figure out how to add the rain c:
(Didn't include every single one as many are slightly altered variants of the same frames)
EDIT: first version had weird outlines but if you've downaloded it after seeing this it should be fixed!

Since I was planning on making 3 new toy customs soon I came to realize I haven't done a collection post of these yet! Most are from around 2019

Been working hard on avian request and the first big batch of commissions is done! Gonna focus on wrapping up studio work, the PMV, tutorial etc and then reach out for the second batch later on this month. Hopefully I'll get everyone and everything covered!
Super excited about it all and it's been such a genuinely good time drawing so much for others without the pressure of my own expecations normally put on personal / OC content!

I can't begin to express how grateful I am for both buyers for this joyous chance to make such a fun video as well as for being willing to pay for my time and work<3 I would adore to host more of these in the future as an alternative to just illustrated commissions, perhaps even custom PMV auctions!

Some are trades/gifts, slide 3 is an upcoming adopt I'll drop on toyhou.se soon, slide 8, 11 and 13 are some early OC concept sketches for new characters and slide 5 and six are lil cat studies of Magpie and Crow for a new upcming animation (wip dropping real soon too!) I also finally finished rendering all the frames of the PMV YCH, only editing left >:)
Had super fun rendering the water droplets! Might also make the puffballs an avian reward...

Thought I'd dedicate a post to one animation to show the process steps! This was a very recent trade with Drainclouds of her OC Fennelmilk! Doing a more limited 6 frame icon was super duper fu and I might consider doing ych auctions for some in the future, they still take too long to do as standard comms but this one is way more managable than the usualy icons I do ^^
All markings were handdrawn for each frame too and fully rendered in CSP! The gifs show each step of inbetweening etc,...
Update nr 2! Making slow but steady progress and nearly all frames from the last wip has been finished!
I'm making sure I do things properly with this one as I really want to make the story elements understood and not just get swept along with the music haha, at this point it's become more of a grayscale PMV than animatic as I find myself rendering the backgrounds too :,) (intro is cut off just for this wip so it's not as repetitive)

The latter half is yet to be made as the direction of this is leaning towards some major lore hints and so I wanna properly figure stuff out; it might be too early to focus on the project or I might be able to make the hints less clear and so tease things a bit earlier....

A mix of varying projects!
I lost connection with Owlquill's old design and so gave it my own redesign to make a new one heavily inspired by great horned owls! I drew another scene practise too to add to her toyhou.se page ft her soon Woodpaw and daughter Cadaverkit ^^
Other wips include an updated sketch version of one of the "Violent" YCH's, an icon commission and other owed sketches, some updated/rendered shots from the animatic and finally 2 grayscale wips of backgrounds...
Hoping to sprinkle in more one-layer-bases every now and again if I feel like I need more birb/avian content and so here is a lil kitten base! I thought it'd be cute wether for ocs and seeing them as babies or for adopts!
